Ledger

I have to fully agree with the negative reviews, I purchased a Ledger hard wallet as I thought I might have an interest in crypto. However it has just been in its original case since using only two or three times. Admittedly a few years has passed but now it seems to be totally dead…….it has no battery and receives power from usb so why has this… Read more
piece of equipment failed? Ledger only interested in selling another version but after this experience why would I
Great Ledger Nano. Works fine and hold my assets easily Show details
Avoid Ledger at All Costs – I purchased a Ledger Nano X as a gift, and it failed without ever being used—no assets loaded on to it. The issue? A known battery fault that Ledger refuses to properly address outside their standard warranty period. Their customer support was dismissive, offering nothing more than a discount for a replacement of their already faulty product. … Read more
A company that claims to be a global leader in crypto security should stand behind its products, especially when flaws are widely acknowledged. Instead, Ledger hides behind weak policies and poor management decisions. I’ll never buy or recommend Ledger again, and I’ll make sure others in the crypto community know to avoid them too.
Look elsewhere for reliability—Ledger has lost all credibility. I’ve switched to Tangem.
So easy to use in comparison and as it doesn’t have a battery (with a known battery issue such as a Ledger) and it also comes with a 25-year warranty.
Since buying a 3 card pack for myself and setting it up, I’ve bought 4 more (3 card packs) for my kids.
Shame Ledger doesn’t stand behind their faulty products. I suppose it’s a win for Tangem though.
Bad customer service – If you really need this device, you have to be ready to experience no customer service response if matters arise. My coins disappeared overnight, all transactions sent to another wallet address and they were not there to help me out. I had to seek assistance from TechchainConsult since they're experienced in such cases. My coins are back intact now but in a different wallet.
Terrible - Dont buy anything – Terrible, don't buy anything from Ledger. I ordered a Nano and I've been waiting 8 days to be shipped and still on processing. I get it Its Christmas time but if the product is not in stock, you mention that at product checkout when you charge me for $44 for express 3 day delivery to Australia. No email to get in touch with Ledger, No phone… Read more
number to call. (Imagine when you have an issue and can't use your device or access your coins)
No Customer service what so ever.
Further to this, the exorbitantly priced Nano model barely has any storage limit. You will barely fit 10 coin apps on there and that's it, have to buy another device.
Please give them a miss and look at Trezor or Tangem.
Terrable to No Support – Their support is terrible. The Ledger Wallet holds assets with a significant value however they don't want you to contact them with a problem. I have had a problem with assets worth a lot of money that are frozen in my wallet for months. Communication is poor if you can get through and certainly not helpful.
Expensive but great if you can use it properly – This review is broken up into a number of different sections that will give the user (you) to use your preferred browser's "Find on page" function to skip to the area of interest. onto one of your many devices (PC, Tablet, Smartphone), this is a hardware wallet in the form of a USB Key.
Late November 2022, I bought this from eBay and though expensive, as the Ledger Nano S+, and after doing a great deal of research before its purchase. Ledger was recommended.
Upon receiving the item after delays in shipping and explanations towards damaged goods in-transit. I managed to acquire it in the end.
It came in a bespoke, small purple and black coloured packaged box. And came with everything you needed. What got me over the line was the amount of information I had to sought from YouTube and so on to get to understand how to use this product.
[The Pros(+)] - It is a USB Key "hardware" wallet - Ease of use once you know how to use it - USB-C cable to any compatible device - Fully customisable
[The Cons(-)] - Transferring from your centralised exchanges causes a financial fee which is unavoidable - Keeping it in a safe place - Needs to install additional applications
[The Final Thoughts] If you are an advanced user or have advanced understandings of how to use a hardware cryptocurrency wallet; then this will meet your needs without consulting additional resourced information that I had to do.
It is expensive for a reason, but then again, it is perhaps cheaper, more effective, and secure than any of your other devices. I went with this version because at the time it was a revised model edition and it was considered in the middle of the Ledger product line-up.
No support whatsoever! Terrible company! – Yes, Ledger is considered to be the safest crypto wallet. Unless they send you a faulty device. That's where your troubles start. You loose access to all of your crypto accounts and you send countless enquiries to Ledger support team - all of them remain unanswered. They don't have a phone line, so you can write as many emails, twits and online… Read more
messages as you want - with no success. Eventually, you buy another device from them, hoping it'll work properly - another $300 into Ledger coffers. Bad company, bad service!
