Not the first time my packages were stolen, SwiftX needs to ring door bells to let the recipient know that they're package is delivered. They do not ring the door bells. They just place packages in front of the property and take pictures then leave. Definitely not professional. Then recipients can't get a refund. Please do better.

Platform looks neat and professional. Since 7 Jan 2026 (or so) it will enable deposit through bank transfer from NZ and I hope it goes smoothly as I am looking forward to it.

if there was an alternative verification method such as manual ID review or another standard identity check.

The response received was simply:

“Unfortunately, there is no other way to complete this - you will have to complete this on your end via the verification portal available to you.”

There was no attempt to escalate the request, no discussion of alternatives besides potential withdrawal to FIAT (which would cause a serious loss), and no willingness to accommodate legitimate privacy concerns. We've been using the platform for years without issues, her funds are already on the exchange, and she was simply trying to transfer her BTC to her own hardware wallet.

The inconsistency and refusal to escalate makes it feel like customers have no control over their own funds unless they agree to hand over highly sensitive biometric data.

We understand that exchanges need to comply with regulations and perform identity checks. That’s reasonable. What’s not reasonable is refusing to provide any alternative verification method or escalation pathway for long-term customers who are uncomfortable with biometric data collection.

If this is how Swyftx treats loyal users when they try to withdraw their own assets, it’s something new users should be aware of before trusting the platform with their funds.

few SATS reward completing their tax knowledge test. Their support material was also helpful to set up a cold storage wallet. Their transaction fees include a trading fee (0.6% which reduces as your trading volume increases) and a spread which is far more substantial (1.03% on BTC at the time of writing). I wish Sywftx would explicitly show the spread on their tax invoice for the transaction but it is 'hidden' in the difference between the on market price and the 'what you get price'. If you are investing AUD50,000 Sywftx offer an OTC (over the counter) service which I expect will reduce their spread. Overall: their service is excellent, more clarity is wanted on transaction documentation and their charges are competitive.

longest I've waited was 30 secs. Their support staff are readily available 24hrs and they treat you with nothing other than courtesy and respect.

I've put some random queries their way and no matter how small they may be, the staff bend over backwards to assist. Not only do you get an actual answer, but they genuinely do everything they possibly can in closing off your concern by way of rectifying.

In a sector that's full of faceless people trying to take your money, often hiding behind ridiculous terms and conditions that they believe somehow negates their obligation to simply do the right thing, it's more than refreshing knowing your knowing that Swiftx staff have integrity.

They have earnt my total trust and I have completed confidence that my money is safe.

I've encountered one single issue which was a concern, and although they could have hidden and closed the door, they owned it and did more than what they were obliged to do.

Fees are on a tier system, which I think is actually fair when comparing to the rest.
