I find the Swiftx app, as the most reliable and user-friendly. Swiftx also is a platform that supports Australian bank accounts, so buying and withdrawals are a breeze... i really love Swiftx. I am not affiliated with Swiftx and I am not paid by Swiftx. I have been using Swiftx for 4 years now and I'm happy with its performance.
I had a really positive experience with Swyftx when I needed to make changes to my personal details. The service was great, everything was quick and straightforward, and the platform has been easy to use. Overall, I’m really happy with how smooth the whole process was.

Great crypto exchange as it easily has the lowest fees out of all Australian exchanges with the least spread too. I’ve attached screenshots of the difference between using CoinSpot and Swyftx. The customer support has always been super helpful and responsive when I’ve needed help.

They asked to verify ID when I last logged in. I did but then the system asked for photo ID and other forms of ID not relevant to my account. I said don't want to and they said if you don't then your account will be suspended. I said "no notice?" then they gave some. Very deceptive, not verification as I said I will update the ID I gave originally, however this was not acceptable. Bad experience for me, apart from the loss incurred :( Show details
A reasonably good exchange for entry level investors but too basic and little customization for advanced users with any history of any type of trading. Most importantly SWYFTX charges an advertised percentage but I feel they also make a large margin off the spread between the buy and sell price (They deny it) -SWYFTX claim its due to low liquidity… Read more
but you will even see a $2000 difference in Bitcoin price (Highest liquidity!!). Seems illegal! This means that your buy price is well above market and your sell price is well under market (spread is about 2%!!!) - In order to breakeven when selling you have to wait for crypto price to reach 2% above your buy price + SWYFTX brokerage fees. SWYFTX also maintain this spread for historical pricing - which is impossible! - There can only be one price at any point in time in the past. Triggered Trades are also executed very slowly and it is highly likely it will be executed at the wrong price!

Platform looks neat and professional. Since 7 Jan 2026 (or so) it will enable deposit through bank transfer from NZ and I hope it goes smoothly as I am looking forward to it.
Follow-up · Direct transfer from NZ bank account is working fine and just made a small amount of withdraw back to my bank account and is now completed within a day. Quick and easy. Gotta be careful on reference number when deposit to Swiftx as reference number is one off and does not repeat.

I was trading in swyftx for a few days and i really liked it, but then i got some verification issues and uploaded a few documents to show my income, but instead of explaining or asking for more documentations, the support agent directly disabled my account even though i did nothing wrong. Follow-up · They asked for my source of income, and i have a family business back in my country, and i gave legit bank statements of the business. Instead of saying that was not enough or giving me an explanation of what they actually require, they disabled my account with no prior notice and said that they’ve disabled it. I tried contacting support many times but never got a proper response

to self custody etc... You WILL encounter solid brick walls and instant account restrictions. The process following this is frustrating and so so messy. You'll end up being 'handed around' through several tiers of the hierarchy until a decision maker is on scene. Usually a bombardment of random screen shots containing your personal investment information from seperate entities is required to have any chance of success with lifting these restrictions. They'll say its all for investor protection etc.. Really goes against the grain of what crypto is all about in my opinion. They are dancing a fine line with regards to investor trust, rights & privacy. They behave more like a government agency than a business offering a paid service. I can lift restrictions on any of my accounts with the 'Big 4' financial institutions in Australia by simply replying to a message or confirming through the website / app that the transaction is valid. I'm in day 3 so far with these guys and restrictions are still in force - I cannot trade. If you're new to crypto - AVOID at all costs. If you're in the game and think you can mitigate this pain and frustration, I'll meet you back here in the review section.

few SATS reward completing their tax knowledge test. Their support material was also helpful to set up a cold storage wallet. Their transaction fees include a trading fee (0.6% which reduces as your trading volume increases) and a spread which is far more substantial (1.03% on BTC at the time of writing). I wish Sywftx would explicitly show the spread on their tax invoice for the transaction but it is 'hidden' in the difference between the on market price and the 'what you get price'. If you are investing AUD50,000 Sywftx offer an OTC (over the counter) service which I expect will reduce their spread. Overall: their service is excellent, more clarity is wanted on transaction documentation and their charges are competitive.

longest I've waited was 30 secs. Their support staff are readily available 24hrs and they treat you with nothing other than courtesy and respect.
I've put some random queries their way and no matter how small they may be, the staff bend over backwards to assist. Not only do you get an actual answer, but they genuinely do everything they possibly can in closing off your concern by way of rectifying.
In a sector that's full of faceless people trying to take your money, often hiding behind ridiculous terms and conditions that they believe somehow negates their obligation to simply do the right thing, it's more than refreshing knowing your knowing that Swiftx staff have integrity.
They have earnt my total trust and I have completed confidence that my money is safe.
I've encountered one single issue which was a concern, and although they could have hidden and closed the door, they owned it and did more than what they were obliged to do.
Fees are on a tier system, which I think is actually fair when comparing to the rest.

complete novice and after six weeks on Swyft I’m loving it. Also love the news feed and how regularly it updates.i get a ten dollar bonus in my account for this review, but that doesn’t even fuss me because im mostly doing this review to let you know there’s no point paying 1% trading fee with CoinSpot when Swyft is cheaper and easier to use.

Swyftx is quite good. I have been using it for a few days now. I have transitioned from EasyCrypto (New Zealand exchange) to Swyftx. They made the transition quite easy, and I'm already using it to buy and sell crypto; their customer service is fast and good, too. We'll see how it goes in the future, but so far it works well :)

Looking back, I realize I should have done more research before trusting that fake company. Reading reviews and verifying their legitimacy could have saved me a lot of stress and loss. I'm incredibly grateful that Lex Recoup Solutions listened, acted promptly, and proved they genuinely care about their clients. I cannot in good conscience give Swyftx 5 stars at this point. I'm a newly migrated user of NZ-based Easy Crypto. I set up my first three Auto invest deposits (why a guide for EC users was not provided I don't know) but only two payments made it into the Swyftx account. payment, which sounds like it was in Swyftx's account the whole time, and had to be manually reconciled. Then my Auto invest purchases didn't fire.... I have no idea if the next set of deposits will work properly as these CS reps have been trained to give as little info as possible and just tell you to rtfm. Long story short, it looks like a capable platform let down by some soft processes and slow customer service. I hope it improves, and expect it'll probably work fine once the initial onboarding is done.

The response received was simply:
“Unfortunately, there is no other way to complete this - you will have to complete this on your end via the verification portal available to you.”
There was no attempt to escalate the request, no discussion of alternatives besides potential withdrawal to FIAT (which would cause a serious loss), and no willingness to accommodate legitimate privacy concerns. We've been using the platform for years without issues, her funds are already on the exchange, and she was simply trying to transfer her BTC to her own hardware wallet.
The inconsistency and refusal to escalate makes it feel like customers have no control over their own funds unless they agree to hand over highly sensitive biometric data.
We understand that exchanges need to comply with regulations and perform identity checks. That’s reasonable. What’s not reasonable is refusing to provide any alternative verification method or escalation pathway for long-term customers who are uncomfortable with biometric data collection.
If this is how Swyftx treats loyal users when they try to withdraw their own assets, it’s something new users should be aware of before trusting the platform with their funds.

I had some other accounts with different platforms and to be honest, I have found it easy and actually a bit cheaper to buy my crypto on SwyftX. The only down side is I am not able to transfer my XDC, but this is a small set back for what I am able to do on this platform. I would encourage anybody in the Australasian hemisphere to give SwyftX a go.
Swyftx interface is super simple compared to its competitors. I have used Binance, Okx, Kraken also. Their spread cost and retail commission is the most competitive.Adding to that, their support is very prompt on your app issues. Overall I would highly rate them.
