Coinspot would not let me withdraw my own assets
I have been defrauded a month and a halve ago. I have contacted Coinspot for help and some assistance regarding a retrieval of my lost funds which I have transferred from Coinspot to a third party. The reply from Coinspot was that there is not much they can do to help me. I understood and accepted the facts. It is my own fault after all. I have kept my wallet with Coinspot active and deposited some more funds in there. A month later for security reasons I wanted to move my coins to a cold storage wallet, and this is when I realized that my acco
... Read moreunt in Coinspot has been restricted prohibiting me to withdraw my own assets. I did get in touch with customer service, and their reply to why my account has been restricted was that due to risky activity on my account some time ago ( when I have been defrauded ) was the reason for the suspension. I have done nothing illegal or fraudulent! Their advise on this situation is to sell my bitcoin portfolio for Australian dollars and transfer to my bank account. In the meantime they also advised that I can add more money or to do trading as wish on this account except withdrawing., Do you know who behave like this? Scammers do. Tomorrow I will start my day with writing a detailed report to ASIC https://www.cyber.gov.au/acsc/report and fair trading. Coinspot ABN is 19 619 574 186 Scammers need to be reported. Reading through the other reviews I am not the only one suffering from their actions.

... Read moree, I will inform them of Coinspot defrauding clients so they have it on their database with possibly restricting people from falling in your traps. The authorities need to be alerted for you utter fraudulent behavior and people should not submit to you bulling them and just report you to the relevant authorities where criminals get reported.
Controlling your funds
Coinspots fees are astronomical compared to most other exchnages. Yet when you try to send crypto off their platform to another they will block and stop you from sending YOUR money where YOU like. Coinspot seem to think they know better than you. Yet had a hot wallet hacked of $2 million ETH so your assets may not even be safe. Perhaps they should lets their high fee paying customers do what they want with their money.

Great for beginners
Great for beginners starting to invest in cryptocurrency. It takes a day for money especially if it’s a large amount to be deposited into your account so don’t stress out like I did. I suggest for coinspot to send a confirmation email to say the money is being deposited into the account. Otherwise I have been happy with the process of creating an account.

I have been locked out of my Coinspot account do to suspicous activity on my acc. I have posted photo with my ID card and a note stating that i would like to unlock my account with my name, signiture,date and my signiture.
