Not sure why so many negative reviews. I find the staff lovely and helpful, the produce fresh and the range excellent. The car park can get very busy but when it is they send staff out to direct traffic. They wouldn’t have survived this long if they were crappy. I drive here from Kiama, don’t suffer fools and it’s still my favourite for meat,deli and fruit/veg. Show details

were busy, so I moved myself away from the from the cashiers. In the meantime,the original cashier was still loud and opinionated about what? The whole event was escalating and I was bewildered by the scene that was unfolding in front of me. I left my trolley and went. Apparently even after I left, the cashier was still being rude and another cashier started to use abusing language. I know this because the people I went with told me what happened after I left, the cashier was still carrying on. They were disgusted by the event. No-one from Leisure Coast checked to see if I was OK. Not only I experienced exceptional bad customer service, I am shocked by the absolute unprofessional attitude by the supervisors. Leisure Coast has lost me as a customer, I will shop elsewhere where customer service is the norm and as a addition, where there are cleaner trolleys. Shame on you Leisure Coast.

Since they have employed people from the Sub Continent, Sri Lanka, Nepal and younger people their services have improved remarkably. Individuals from these countries are respectful, kind and hard working. I hope the owners of the fruit market honour and recognise their loyalty and hard work. Bad coconuts – Every time I buy a coconut not a drinking one. This shops coconut is slimy inside and will be rotten on the inside. I have brought 3 on different days and week and they all turned out the same. Wasted $5:00 of food money. Not happy.

Well worth the visit – I’ve been shopping at LCFM for decades. Great range of fresh produce, very competitively priced. The carpark can be busy but you just need to be polite and exercise patience. The high turnover of fruit & veg means there is always fresh stock to buy. Show details

marked as 1.99/kl, but charged $2.99/kl. I am told not to handle packaged meats because 'I mess up the pile'. No acknowledgement that I, as the customer, would like to choose what I would like to buy. I am now looking to other Grocer shops where they provide good service and product, not a grocer shop with poor commitment to service and quality.

receiving end of this rude and harassing behaviour a couple of times in the past 2 weeks. Once at the checkout where a very rude lady at checkout was opening up because the queues are always overly long on weekends, saw me step in her direction and told me to wait as she called other customers over. It was the rude, dismissive and imperious manner she did this. This business clearly doesn’t value its customers and I’ve seen a couple of staff in the vegetable section berate people because they don’t want to buy a whole bucket full of fruit or veg that’s been pre filled for them. There have been many times where I’ve found old or damaged fruit placed in the bottom of the bucket and topped with other fruit so unsuspecting customers don’t realise until they get home. Their chicken and meat is also not fresh and there have been a couple of times where I’ve had to throw out the mince and chicken because it smells so bad. You know a place has zero customer service when you don’t want to return bad meat because you know they will just hassle you or accuse you and it’s just not worth it!

Beware of overcharge from inexperience check-out staff – Pros : Used to have cheap fruit and meat. However, recently the fruit are not so cheap compared to other supermaket. pedestrian path. Today, I bougth a bag of brown pear, advertised as 2.99 per kilo. Upon coming home, I was horrified to see that actually I was charged as green pear, at 4.99 per kilo. At the shop, the check-out girl just have a look at the fruit, weight it and enter the fruit they think in the bag. When I talked to the check-out girl, she asked me to talk to other lady, which in turn asked me to another one. Finally, they gave me back 1.25, which is one dollar short. I cannot complain further as I did not have evidence. They asked me to be nice next time and no apology. Everybody can make a mistake, but the attitude of the check-out staffs are beyond comprehensive, out of touch.

As I was already in the queue waiting to pay, I forgot something, so I put my shopping basket full of groceries down and ran to the aisle to get it. But when I came back, she told me in a harsh tone that i couldn’t just run back and forth to the aisle and expect to be in the same spot. She even went as far as asking the people behind me whether did I jumped the queue! There was a queue waiting but she didn’t care but went on to threatened me in a loud voice saying “DONT YOU DARE TO COME TO MY CHECKOUT AGAIN and using foul language which shocked everyone around me. Judging from other reviews, this person has harassed other customers as well in the past but obviously, no action has been taken against her by the owner. As customers, we will spend our money where we can be treated with dignity. Leisure Coast, you have lost my business as well as those who had been treated with disdain. I wonder isn’t promoting a safe space for your customers to shop without fear of being harassed and threatened a priority or is it just about laughing your way to the bank?

Amazing range of quality meat and produce – No complaints here.The whole Bolar Blade is a must-have. Very economical for my hungry family. Huge range of high quality deli items. Friendly owners and check out workers.
