What length is the drain hose on this machine? Does this machine have dual motors, and does it have a linty filter?

Hi Geoff, thank you for your question. The length of the hose is 2.7m, it has 2 motors and a lint filter. Thanks

Washing cycle wont work. Is there a transit nut or something to be done before working.

Hi Karen, thank you for your question and I'm sorry to hear of this. You can check that the wash timer knob or the spin timer knob is not in the "0" position before starting. Thanks

Can you still get spareparts for this model? My pump has packed it in and I'm wondering if it's worth getting a new machine or fix it if possible

Hi JJJ,

The LTT8 model is discontinued now unfortunately but we do have a new model called LWTT80, this is available at Appliances online and the Electric Discounter!

I bought mine from appliances online, but they were also available at beta electrical, as I looked at them there then bought online cheaper.

how do you save the soapy water then return it to the machine for the dirty clothes prem. wash???Is it a ''bucket job'' back...or is there another solution..maybe like suction or something??????

mumsbeenshoppingagain

You don't move the water. You move the clothes. Once washed you move the clothes to the spinner, move the inlet hose to the spinner and run water for a minute while spinning clothes, then turn the water off and continue spinner for 2-3 mins.

At least this is what I do and I find it works very well for me. Each to their own though.

how do you return the soapy water from the spin dryer back to the washing tub?

mumsbeenshoppingagain
mumsbeenshoppingagain

hi there. you wash you items in one side, i pull them out of the water and put them into the spin side, then spin them for 2 mins while i put another load into the wash side and put it on for 9-12 mins. then by this time i have sorted and loaded this next wash side, the spin is done, i hang the washing on the line and by then the next load is waiting to go into the spinner.

The spinner water goes to grey waste, but the washing water i can get 2 or 3 loads out of, dependingon the colours and dirtiness. start with light colours first, then dark (obvious i know) and sometimes i can then get the a set of towels done too. If not, just turn the dial to drain, the water will drain from the tub and you start again, it really is a very simple and quick machine. I love it and it has not missed a beat.

cheers and happy washing

Thank you for that. I do understand all that but when you put the washing into the spin dryer how does the soapy water get back into the washing tub. Do you have to shift the emptying hose into the wash tub or does it get there some other way, because I can't see how that hose is long enough to reach the wash tub.

There is a plastic loop (when shipped) holding the outlet hose top and centre, Snip it, and it allows the hose to then swing fully to either side.

I am looking at getting a twin tub washing machine, had one years ago and feel that water saving is an issue with the automatic I have. As I can see by your review you would certainly recommend the Lemair ??

Hi there Yes i am very happy with my Lemair twin tub. Has not missed beat and unlike all my other machines that after 1 year started rusting, this machine is in 'as new' condition. The spinner could be a little bigger, but overall i just love the water saving and the fact that my washing now takes me 1 hour for a family of four instead of 4 hours ++. I would recommend the Lemair 8kg based on my person experience with my machine and i purchased through appliances online i would highly recommend their service as well. If your old machine is disconnected they will take that away too.

Good luck and happy washing
