Not Happy Jan – Bought Lemair LWTT80 model two anmd a half years ago. 12mths later, warranty expired, spin dry froze. On inspection (which I couldn't do when I bought it .... voids warranty ... found the connecting cord from lid to spin motor had not been tightened and the brake was on all the time. Lemair made no suggestions, Betta blamed me for not getting an… Read more
extended warranty and still there is no way of knowing what is in the Lemair box when you get the product. Like most in the bush, I use non pressured bore water, which would void warranty on auto washing machines and only China is making? twin tubs.
I have always used a twin tub to conserve water and this is my first lemair – Few dials to operate but no computers very basic to operate. I can wash a single bed quilt in the actual tub with no apparent strain on the agitation however I can't fit that quilt in the spinner so it's gentle on clothes, you can pick how long it washes for and spins and the more I spin the clothes the quicker they dry which is convenient. function is super easy and cleaning is a wipe out after draining the machine. It's wider than the average washing machine but its not too big or bulky. I will always stand by twin tubs do a nicer job on the fabric's for me personally We spent time living in Australia's drought ravaged areas and that's where this machine does her magic but doesn't matter where I live im invested in the concept because what you see is what you get. But it doesn't spin quilts or blankets or anything larger however it will fit it to wash and you can drip dry thats how I do it. Yes its heavy lifting rhose soaked quilts but to me that's minor to another this could be the deal breaker. Overall a basic machine does a lovely job and eoukd recommend it for studio ir office mayb holiday home. Ideal for 2 person household.

It's okay, but disappointing compared to my previous twin tub – Pros: Lightweight and built for longevity I love a twin tub! The fact that you can save water due to how you load your washing saves dollars and ruined clothes. Excellent brake on the spinner lid, brilliant feature. Cons: Wash speeds are: gentle=normal and normal=strong. 3 speeds would be ideal, as I will need to wash my woolies in a pillowcase… Read more · 1
and be careful with delicates. Filler hose is unsuitable for taps and the Drain hose is a minimum 50cm too short for normal house set up. Spin is not dry as there are not enough holes in the spin bin for the water to escape. Instruction manual is lacking maintenance and care information. Lint filter is poorly designed allowing most lint to circulate and miss the catcher. Spin tub area should be hinged to allow access for cleaning and to rescue loose items so they don't end up in the pump which is unprotected.
