Bought this vacuum 4 years ago as a first time stick vac owner. I chose it over a Dyson because it came with two batteries, which has been a big plus. The suction power was really good, couldn't believe how much cat hair it sucked out of the rugs. Initially was very happy mainly because of the lack of cord and no plugging/unplugging as I went… Read more
through the house. In my initial happiness I forgave the fact that you can only vacuum forwards, it doesn't pick up when you vacuum backwards. Even forwards it doesn't pick up particles such as rice, and tends to spit out such sized particles when the head is lifted because of the spinning head. You have to gently place the vacuum head right over the rice grain and hope it will suck it up, or eventually just pull the head off and suck it up the stick. I have mostly wood floors and the brushes on the base of the head wore down pretty quickly, so it's not great for wood/hard floors. And finally the batteries both died together which is going to cost $350 to replace. That's a no from me. I'll be going back to a barrel vacuum.
Wife bought this model 3 months ago...only just stated using as we moved into a new house and the things broken already...won't charge.. won't self clean...she's been on the phone for an hour to LG with a complete NUMPTY who waisted an hour agueing about the serial number only to admit we had the right number an hour ago...resulted in them telling us to take it back to the store we bought it from Show details
Worst vacuum we have owned! Nothing but issues with filters, motors, attachments. Its lasted 1 years and wont turn on. We have owned Dyson sticks vacuum in the past which also had battery issues. What to buy next? Show details

Purchased this LG cordless vacuum from Harvey Norman after replacing a Dyson V8 that started to giup on its suction. This new vacuum is amazing, runs rings around the Dyson with its performance. It has a LED light on the floor head and even though I thought this was just another marketing tactic, it shows up dirt on the hard floor that can’t be… Read more
seen otherwise. The auto emptying is very convenient and the 2 batteries makes cleaning the entire house on full power easily achieved. It was on special for under a thousand dollars and I highly recommend this vac. Give up on the Dyson marketing tonics they specialise in.
Purrfect for pet owners – When I got tired of dragging my regular heavy vacuum around and decided to give a stick a try, I went for a cheaper brand thinking if I didn’t like it I wouldn’t loose out much. Such a rookie error! I wish I would have just purchased the LG CordZero A9 to start with. I have polished floors throughout and with 4 cats they can sometimes look like I… Read more
have a few fur rugs! The CordZero is so light and easy for me to handle, I have a shoulder injury and have had no problems vacuuming the whole house in one go. Never had to swap batteries mid clean and having the extra battery on hand just in case is a bonus. It has great suction on the timber floors, picks up everything without leaving marks or scratches as my previous vac did. Stacks away neatly in a corner of the spare room. The only two negatives I have is that I find it a little tricky getting tangled hair from the roller, I usually have to use scissors and it is a lot noisier than I thought it would be. I do love it and would highly recommend to anyone looking to try a stick vacuum.
Excellent for a small house – I needed a small yet effective stick vac for my small house. I have no carpet, just one very flat floor rug and hardwood or tiles elsewhere. I have a cat who is sending off more furballs than I can handle at the moment. This little vac does a great job getting into small spaces and comes with plenty of attachments as well as an extra battery. I've… Read more
yet to run out of battery power even when using it on turbo power.
It's easy to take apart and clean, which is a bonus because my small handheld portable vac is a pain to pull apart. The filters can be washed which is good because I don't need to buy more.
It works very well on all my floors, even my little rug.
Highly recommend this vacuum.
A new experience of the best kind – I had many cordless Vacuum cleaners before, but not one can compare to the LG cord zero A9K-AQUA. 1. Easy to use, 2. Easy to empty ( really easy) , 3 . Brilliant suction 4. Comes with 2 battery's and both can be charged together. 5. Has a rotation floor mop, absolutely brilliant for my floor boards, tiles and slate floors. I have the Vacuum now over 4 months and still be thrilled. Show details
Ticks all the boxes! – This Vacuum Cleaner definitely ticked all the boxes for me, it had very useful attachments for cleaning carpets, tiles and hard floors and crevices and even mattresses, cars etc. Since the upholstery in cars is fluffy, the mattress cleaner is a good option to use, the yellow attachment vibrates and sucks up the dust which is super useful… Read more · 1
especially after a day at the beach! Another good attachment for cars is the long flexible handle with the brush that can turn anywhere in the car while you clean. For inside the house, I also love that it had a mop as this is very handy when you have dropped something or you need to clean up some spots on the floor. I love how smooth it is on my floor and how powerful it is too. The battery is amazing and it comes with two, so you get plenty of cleaning done on 2 charged batteries. I would rank it very high on my list. I also love how you can clean it, super easy to maintain and it even has an attachment to clean. It has a link to an app to tell you if anything gets stuck or any such issues. I absolutely love it. It runs smoothly and is very powerful, super easy to clean , charge and maintain and it looks good in my house too!!!
Product ok but Warranty is worthless – I purchased my item 12 months ago, a demo model, in good faith with the attached label from LG 'Smart inverter motor, 10 year warranty' the motor has failed and the representative is claiming that the item is second hand and not from an authorised seller. Regardless of the representatives claims, Australian consumer law requires LG to honour their… Read more
claims 'Smart inverter motor, 10 year warranty' ! The ACCC states the consumer law is clear and the supplier must honour promises and repair defective products and that this legal remedy is not impacted by authorised dealer and demo model excuses! LG must obey Australian law.

Brought the LG A9K from Harvey Norman for $949.00 and took out extended warranty! Very expensive vacuum and did the job for around a year so not worth the purchase price. by purchaser. It appears they are unable to produce a product designed to undertake the task they are apparently designed to do, VACUUM floors. We had a head stop spinning which was replaced and the telescope stick broke like many other in the reviews and they blame misuse. Attached is reply from LG and my email. Now lodge with ACL section 54 and pursue via VCAT
Hi Team, Good afternoon, this is to inform you that the relevant team have reviewed all the photos of the fault provided which confirms that the issue is a non manufacturing fault or defect but the result of customer's damage / mishandling. In situation of product misuse, the Manufacturer's warranty is void and there has been no failure to comply with the consumer guarantees under the ACL. We need to refer the customer to the nearest authorized service center.
Further to there correspondence I emailed The vacuum has not been mishandled or misused; its only use has been to vacuum as per its intentions. I would suggest you address the issue of your products fulfilling what they are apparently designed to do. For your reference I have also attached further photos of the unit which will indicate that the vacuum has not been misused.
My partner is 5.6 tall and does not require the telescope to be extended when vacuuming which should not make any difference but as this fault has appeared at the actual vacuum unit I would suggest this is a weak point made worse with the telescope extended.
With response to your statement please advise what customer mishandling and misuse refers to outside the scope of the vacuum doing what it is designed to do, which is to Vacuum timber floors and carpet floors with the allocated attachment!

I bought this vacuum 12 months ago. Initially, it was great. While using it normally, the stick broke and I have been given the complete run around for 2 weeks by customer service with still no resolution. Inferior quality product and Terrible customer servuce Show details

This is the only vacuum we have in a very large house, and it does a great job. We realised the head it was supplied with was great on carpet, but not so good on hard floors - found we could purchase another head specifically for hard floors - what a great fix. I love the fact that it has two batteries, although I rarely need to swap over. I also… Read more
love the extra filter, which makes it possible to take the dirty one out and wash it. It’s a STICK vacuum - so of course it doesn’t have the suction of a larger, plug in appliance. But as an easy, no fuss solution, I’m very satisfied with it.
Harvey Norman convinced me it was better than Dyson so i went against my forever loyalty and regret it! This vacuum has had endless issues, it runs without the power being on so you have to disconnect the tube to stop it. The vacuum stops constantly, it barely runs and has never been great for us. I wish i could return it not only for its faults but because to replace it i am using my 15yr old Dyson!! Show details
BUYER BEWARE A great vacuum for 8-10 months used 3-4 times a week on both tiled and carpet floors for 10-20 minutes. Then the too thin wires in the swivel head broke and the roller brush naturally stopped. It was great for sweeping little bits off rubbish up into the suction pipe. I have a wood heater and tiny bits of wood near the wood rack fall… Read more
on the tiled floor. It is a design flaw as I replaced them with thicker gauge wires due to then constant movement with normal use. I come from electrical background and could not be bothered with the 100 klm all round trip to have it repaired in town and probably the run around we all seem to get nowadays with warranty claims. The wires keep pinching and fatigue and eventually break and I have repaired it 4 times now. Its only 20 months old but has become land fill in this throw away world unfortunately. The narrow path in the swivel head does not allow for thicker wires easily and besides it needs to be redesigned as it will continue to fatigue and break due to too much movement. Copper will only bend back and forth so many times its not rubber .I have other LG products that I am happy with though this one was not one of them !!!!!!!!!! Stay away from any of the similar ones I see they have the same head and movement.
Do not buy this product as the material is too fragile to use. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experience I had with my LG vacuum cleaner. informed that this breakage is considered accidental damage and, therefore, not covered for a free replacement. However, I believe this issue is due to a lack of durability in the materials used for the telescopic pipe. As a vacuum cleaner is a household appliance expected to withstand regular use, it is disappointing that such a critical component failed so easily. The response from the LG consultant, advising me to use the vacuum cleaner with more care, is unsatisfactory. I have always used the appliance as intended, and the breakage occurred during standard operation. This suggests a design flaw or inadequate material quality, rather than user mishandling. I am just a normal housewife using the vacuum with care. Please note that I have a hoover vacuum machine and so far it works. By comparison, Hoover vacuum machine is durable. I urge LG to reconsider its stance on this matter and provide a free replacement for the broken telescopic pipe. Additionally, I recommend that LG reviews the materials used in the construction of this component to prevent similar issues for other customers in the future. Please think twice to use LG products. They are not cheap but their qualify is designed to failure or similar to those purchase online.
Its suction is pathetic, it’s on high or nothing unless you have broken glass or small hard pieces, it will not suck them up only send them flying everywhere. The opening into the waste collection area is so small it gets blocked with fluff all of the time which then makes it surge and stop. When the waste canister is full it will not empty out… Read more
you need to get a knife or fork to run around the inside to drag it out. Battery only charges when it feels like it. The only thing positive about it is its colour and the upright charging stand. Had a Bosch before this it was fabulous.
Don't buy LG vacuum. If only I went onto this page to see reviews before I did! Bought 3yrs ago. 10yr warranty on motor, 2 yr parts warranty. was out of date. I reminded the rep it is the motor not any of the other parts that's the issue. I asked based on the video I sent how they deem it to NOT be a motor issue. I received no direct answer rather that I could have a technician see to it but if in their opinion it is not their fault I'll have to pay. I then asked the rep's opinion (what they most often see) would it be worth me going through with technician or its likely id be told i need to pay....again, no answer, instead i was given 1min to respond then conversation was effectively terminated.. and I was back to square one...talking to a bot....very convenient. Notice Dyson responds on here to complaints / concerns...I haven’t seen LG do this.
Cordless is junk – Battery doesn't stay charged for long Vacuum snapped too, wouldn't recommend anyone buying cordless vacs, I have a corded Miele and it's amazing.
Don’t waste your money - it’s constantly in limp mode – Useless vacuum cleaner. Constantly gets ‘blocked’ and goes into safe mode. Constantly having to clean and find blockages which often turn out to be nothing major. We have to blow it out with the air compressor to clear it out so the motor will work every 3 uses. It started after owning it for less than a month. When it works it’s fine, but it’s… Read more
constantly in limp mode/threatening to burn out the motor. I’ve followed all the YouTube videos on cleaning it out, instructions on trying to trying to ensure the filters are clean enough to operate. So very disappointed after reading many good reviews. Do not waste your money.
The Best cordless vacuum – I have been using my new vacuum cleaner now for around 6 months and use it every day. I find that it does an excellent job on hard floors and with the carpet head attachment it also picks up a lot of hair and dust. I have done a review on my LG A9K Evolve https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cydKkp-jeNg&t=4s. This review also gives a few tips on any problems you might experience and how to solve them.

Poor Suction and Reliability – Quite possibly the worst vacuum cleaner I have ever owned. It was okay for the first six months but then it has constantly failed and lists suction. I keep it cleaned after every use. Not recommended. Show details
Absolute rubbish – Purchased in 2018 after being talked out of buying a Dyson by the JB HiFi shop assistant and it’s been nothing but a lemon ever since. Started revving then switching off during operation. Told there was a blockage, everything cleaned, sent away for ‘repair’ for 4 months. Returns, works for 6 months then plays up again. Away for repair for another 2 months, returned and still not working. Gave up and bought a Dyson V8 instead. Best thing ever!
Serious design flaw alert! – Q: So how the heck is dust and sediment meant to pass from a cylindrical stick through a half circle opening into the main body of a vacuum cleaner? A: It doesn't. Within two weeks of buying the most expensive vacuum cleaner I have ever bought, thinking what the heck, I work hard and deserve it; it started losing power, emitting those waning,… Read more
death throe sounds and then shutting down completely. Their customer service advised me to empty the cartridge and keep the filter clean. I've been vacuuming for 43 of my 53 years and don't need to be told how to maintain a vacuum cleaner. The LG engineering dept need to understand they have a flawed product which needs to be redesigned. Simple as that. I want my money back or a product that is properly designed. Happy to talk.
A frustrating toy – It’s no good, constantly blocks up, I would have to clean the filter six times between one battery charge, the dirt hopper doesn’t hold much and doesn’t fill evenly, it only fills on the inlet side and then blocks the inlet causing the vacuum to shut down, the extension connection is hard to clip off making emptying more difficult. I don’t have… Read more
much good to say about this unit This is an extremely frustrating vacuum and will have a very short life expectancy in my house.
Do not trust LG roducts == absolutely terrile service - if any – Bought at the 10July for $915. My wife loves it - low noise - good suction, wet mopping all good. all photos of it. I tried to get warranty claim via the website. Product is registered. Not possible. We got another phone call from LG. The vacccuum has to be send to BUNDABERG (the next service center) -we are in Hervey Bay. We must pay for an examination and if found that the problem is not out fault - we get a refund!! After just three month the Vacuum with a 10 year warranty had to be send by us and paid for.. AND a service by website is not possible --you can talk with the BOT --who has no idea what I mean "leaking battery"

Disappointed – Was very impressed when I first purchased this stick vacuum, picked up everything with ease, was so much faster and easier vacuuming our six bedroom house rather than our vacuum-maid. house. From approx. six months on, started beeping even after the canister was emptied and filters washed. I purchased more green pre-filters and another hepa exhaust filter hoping this would fix the problem, which it did for a few months before it all started again. The last year had been a nightmare trying to vacuum and now (3 years on) can't use it at all as it beeps and the siren goes off after 2 seconds of use. Am giving this piece of rubbish to a friend who has had a more basic LG for six years without any issues for spare parts if they can use it and looking into buying another brand. Have been using my daughter-in-law's much cheaper vacuum cleaner in between the main vacuum of the week without issue. I'm sure many of the five star reviews were within the first six months or so of purchase, as I was one of those who couldn't fault it.
"Poor Quality and Terrible Warranty—Never Buying LG Again" – "I purchased an LG stick vacuum and couldn’t be more disappointed. The stick literally broke at the attachment point after only a short time of use. I've always bought Dyson and after this experience, I’ll never stray from them again. To make matters worse, LG’s warranty didn’t cover the issue, leaving me stuck with a broken vacuum and no support. Save yourself the trouble—avoid LG vacuums at all costs." Show details
Get something else – I would normally give 1 star but ehhh because it is still improvement from old Dyson I am giving two stars. My verdict is: stay out of it! hard floor nozzle. Worked decent but broke (not surprise) two weeks after 1 year warranty. Rung customer service and was redirected somewhere to Asia. You talk to someone who is like a robot. No help at all. Needed to buy 2nd hard floor nozzle but it was improved. #2 Hi-Power suction - is the only one suction suitable for good vacuuming. Unfortunately it is playing up all the time. Must press it hundred of times to get this thing activated. #3 extention pipe - cracked and taped with the ducked tape. #4 vacuum rubber handle comes off. #5 Vacuum rubbish container hinges snapped off so the bottom of it is, again, taped with the ducked tape. #6 Very high maintenance vacuum. #7 It is imposible to clean the hard floor nozzle components without drop of water...#8 Moping nozzle - only clean water, no way you can clean floor. It is more like floor polisher then cleaner. #9 Cherry on a cake - broke, sent for repair through tje good guys. Repair took like 2-3 months only because no one from the Good Guys did follow up with the repairer. So after ages of waiting I decided to call TGG and asked whondid theybsent tje vacuumnto. I rung the repairer and only found out that the vacuum was repaired for longer then a month but no one from TGG was interested to arrange back delivery. Of course, I needed to get another vacuum for that period of time. Generally, we had terrible experience and we care for our stuff.

An update- the vacuum has stopped working, motor sounds very bad and doesn’t vacuum at all, LG should be ashamed of this product
