Had my for years and would die without it – We have purchase our second solar dom for our house in QLD as I miss our one in Melbourne. Our first one which is still going must be well over 10 years old think around 13-14. I had 4 kids living at home at the time so it was quick for them to heat and eat. Without using the oven for one person. Had the second one now for 3 years again GREAT. Use it everyday

Disappointed – We have the same problem with the oven door only being held by the handle but as it is in the country we don't have the option to get it fixed easily. Not having specific instructions for different food makes speed & combined cooking difficult.

Great product! – I've had this for quite a few years now... firstly in appartment where it served as my only oven/grill/microwave and now as an occasional oven and microwave. Works perfectly and easy to use. Never had a single problem in all this time and I've used it almost daily. This is the third convection microwave I've owned and is by far the best.

Versatile ane Easy To Use – Purchased the Solar DOM around 4months ago and we are delighted with its performance. We use primarily as a microwave oven but have also been pleased with the grill function. The oven has a host of functions but is easy to use and relatively intuitive. Disappointed – Bought 1April 2012 which proved to be a significant date! First time used the digital display failed Good response from LG as they told me to take it back to the supplier and get a replacement, which took 3 days. fitted for free. but this oven was bought to replace my much loved convection oven with hinge down door.. It looses incredible amounts of heat when convection or multifunction cooking through the door. It is very poor at baking cakes as the solar feature burns the top and you have to cover with foil. It does the same with bread baking. When it bakes pizza the top is crisp and the bottom doughy and uncooked The microwave is very noisy but when I asked it to be tested it is "within specifications" I'm really disappointed as it was expensive at $800 Grills OK

Wonderful Oven ! – I bought this oven when my old microwave packed it in. I thought the idea of being able to do so many different cooking methods would be handy. Well it is far better than I could have ever imagined. For the times when you need and extra oven at the same time as your regular oven it sure is handy. Reliable, easy to use. A bit expensive but worth it.

realising that she had hurt herself. A very scary situation so hence the reason I purchased this benchtop oven. It does everything it is made to do and another great feature is that it's a microwave too, so I got rid of my microwave. A very happy user..... Very easy to use, multi-functional, love the curved rear. It is extremely versatile for all my needs. I think the only thing so far that I can say what I don't like is, when the oven finishes cooking and you remove the cooked item that the oven does not actually shut down for a few minutes. No big deal, just thought worth a mention.

Love it! – We have had this for almost 5 years now and it's still going strong. We use it regularly and it does roasts in so much less time and beautifully. It is really energy efficient in that way. We don't need a conventional oven as this is just perfect for us. Easy to clean and simple to use. The auto programmes are very practical too! Energy efficient, space saving, reliable Need to replace rubber feet on the racks which are not cheap

Waste of money – This oven was okay for the first few months and then it developed a grinding noise in the turntable and then just stopped working before the set time. Have had it back to the repairer twice now and they can't find the problem. So now we have an oven that doesn't work properly and LG won't do anyting to help unless they find a problem. for the warranty. What waranty???Will possibly be taking this oven to the tip soon and never buy an LG product again. Very dissapointed fast cooking Just stops cooking after about 20 -25 minutes. Have to keep re-setting it again and again. Unable to fix. Warranty useless

Terrible – This oven was fine until it started playing up. I have hardly used it but lately it has started turning on by itself (grilling element) so I have to unplug it whenever I leave the apartment in case it comes on while I'm gone and burns the apartment down. low powered (900W). Convection burns in the middle, but doesn't cook too well on the edges. If you cook something in oven, you have to wait for it to cool down before you can nuke something. Top is hard to clean around the top element after things 'splatter'. Pricey (if it worked better, I would have been ok with price)
