7 years and still going – Other than the light bulb blown inside the microwave a few years ago, it still works fine. Pretty strong, and only takes about 1 min to heat up a cup of milk. Would of liked a push button to open instead of a pull, but from vague memory it wasn't a very expensive microwave (<$300). Has an instant start 1min function that I just press multiple times to set for multiple minutes.

It isn't a "loud" microwave, but neither silent. The annoying beep announcing its completion in cooking is rather annoying and it has a beeping reminder for 2 or 3 cycles after it if you don't attend to it.

Build quality is good. So far it is easy to keep clean. Just the blown bulb would be the only thing that has stopped it getting a 5 star rating.

Excellent – We have had our LG microwave for over 5 years and it hasn't skipped a beat. It is an indispensable item in our kitchen and dinner time would be impossible without it as we often cook at least two different meals to satisfy everyone's different requirements. Good strong power to cook quickly. Makes life easier when you can just 'zap' something to eat, reheat a coffee that's gone a bit cold or cook simple meals like scrambled eggs (which turn out better than if made in a saucepan by the way). Even with the rotating glass plate the food never heats evenly and you get cold and hot spots.
