not bad for a cheap phone – i think that this phone is okay but still cheap and i wished that i had got another samsung touch screen. i found lg to be more difficult to operate. whereas the samsung was easy. its a shame neither do a waterproof phone they seem to get a splash of water on them and thats it dead doesnt work anymore. Maybe i need to get a more expensive phone next time cheap with flybuys not easy to operate and not waterproof
Cheap price but cheap quality – Poor quality touch-screen makes typing very frustrating. Screen hard to see in open sunlight. LG software could be better designed. Updating Android version was very difficult and LG took a long time to fix a bug in the upgrade system. Music player is good and comes with built-in speaker. Thin body. Music player, Inexpensive Touchscreen is imprecise, LG software is poorly designed
Great at the start, but having problems – When I first got the LG GT540, I loved it! My first smartphone and I loved everything about it, the touchscreen, the apps, and just being up with the times was fantastic!! However, I have had this phone for about 5 months now, and started having problems with it about 2-3 months ago. Will sometimes turn itself off for no reason. Lags a lot! When… Read more
trying to unlock it, it can sometimes take forever for the lock screen to come up, even after pressing the button several times. Takes a long time to load the call record screen, and the messaging screen.
All in all, a decent phone, but I'd expected better. -Responsive screen -The apps are awesome!! I'm prepaid, so my apps can't update themselves if I don't have credit -Texting is quite nice, with a choice of either the traditional texting method, or QWERTY -Reasonable battery life, you get at least a couple of days, less if you use it a lot -Quite expensive when I purchased 5 months ago. Has now halved in price. -Lags a lot!! -Takes a while to load some screens
Good – Thisd is the first smartphone I have owned. There are many aps on the android market which are for free. These 'free'apps update on their own and create a rather large telephone account. The internet can be disabled so it can not automatically update features. It is very easy to type messages on. Although it has a resistive touchscreen it is… Read more
very responsive. The changing homescreens are good because you can organise folders according to which days you will need them on. The charger also funchions a a usb connection cord; the downside to this is if you misplace it you have no way to charge the phone. lightweight, reasonable battery life updated on its own which results in large phone bills
