Poor Design Slow Cycle Times and Horrible Customer Service – Dishwasher is 16 months old. Average cycle time is 3 hours. Have to use intensive just to get basic tomato / bbq sauce off dishes. After 16 months of use the entire top drawer and middle spray arm was cracked and warped. LG warranty dispatched a repairer one of the worst he seen apparently. Don't know why they designed a diswasher to get up to 80… Read more

celcius and put thin plastic in it. Horrible Idea. (Sarcasticly said see you in 12 months to buy another spray arm from and I got "yea pretty much")

Every whitegood appliance I have purcahsed from LG (Diswasher, Microwave, 2x Washing machines) has had a warranty claim within the first 2 years with some having multiple faults quarterly. (I should have a guest bed just for the warranty repairers) LG Representatives on the phone are 0/10 often telling you that someone is on a lunch break for 3 hours to get you off the phone. Complaints Handling process horrible.

Mediocre dishwasher for a high price tag – I have had this dishwasher for just over a year. I already requested a replacement for the plate holders because they were all broken, as well as the cutlery basket. LG was very good and sent me a replacement tray straight away, however, this does not take away the fact that the product is of dubious quality. This week I needed to pull all the… Read more

arms apart because it was not cleaning properly. Did a big clean to the sprayers and it seems to be functioning correctly again. All of this within a couple of years. I also noticed that some rust is starting to appear around the base, which is not great considering how new it is.

It also comes with only one 'fast' wash mode called turbo, which still takes 1:40 to finish.

Cleans better than our old Bosch Serie 2 – We are very happy with our LG dishwasher. We have not yet had any dishes that have needed to washed again. Baking dishes with heavily baked on food has come out clean. We don't pre wash any dishes. We previously had a Bosch Serie 2 dishwasher and the LG is superior in cleaning performance. Dishes come out dryer even without rinsing aid. Before… Read more

we purchased, we did a lot of research. To answer some of the concerns that I saw in those reviews, I thought I would share some things I have found. Cycle time: Yes they are longer than what we had with the Bosch. There is a express mode that goes for 38 minutes. I have never used it, but it is available. There is a turbo mode which goes for 1hr 40 minutes. Again we have not used it as we load our dishes in the dishwasher throughout the day and then put it on at night. A few times we have run a cycle in the morning and then one at night, but we are aware of the cycle times and we don't have an issue with it. This dishwasher does use less electricity and water, so waiting a little longer for the cycles is a worthy pay off. Noise: It is very quiet. Apart from the end tone when it finishes, you can barely hear it. Front Panel Buttons: If you are leaning against the dishwasher, yes you can turn the dishwasher on. But it has a button tone, so if you do hear it, you will know. Please be aware of the heights within the dishwasher for fitting in things like chopping boards. The trays in the dishwasher are a tiny bit smaller than our previous Bosch.
