After using this washer for just over a week, I can say it looks great and performs very well. However, it is missing a few features that I hope will be added in a future software update. The visual design is a big improvement over previous models. It looks more traditional and sleek, as opposed to the minimalist, flat design of the previous versions.

The agitation can get quite intense for an impeller washer, which is great for cleaning heavily soiled clothes. It doesn't get everything tangled up, as long as you sort your load properly.

My only major issue is with the delicate cycle options. There are currently two cycles with an agitation level low enough to safely clean clothing you want to last, Delicate and the downloadable Lingerie cycle. The problem is that you can only set these cycles to cold, and you cannot manually adjust the spin time. Because of this, clothes come out soaking wet when the cycle finishes.

I understand that for the most delicate clothing, these settings are ideal. However, for less delicate clothes, I need a cycle that has the same gentle agitation but with the option to change the water temperature and increase the spin time.

The WTX3-09W is a great washer, but I cannot fully recommend it unless LG adds a delicate downloadable cycle that unlocks these features.
