Excellent – Overall, I did love the phone, I had it for 2 years until I am eligible for an upgrade, would have kept using the phone otherwise. The scroller doesnt bother me that much, unless i'm in a hurry to read an sms. sleek design, thin-ish, tough screen, tough phone too, I dropped it a few times, still works fine. Scractched it too, but because the phone is silver colored, it's hard to tell, unless you examine it closely. Good keypad, very smooth to type on, unlike some keypads you have to press very hard to get the phone to register you've typed something. Good of sms-ers like me.

Takes great photos! not able to be blown up though since it's only 2mp. Battery life was great for the first month or so, lasts about 3 days, then after that it has to be charged everyday.

The scroller isn't sensitive, you'll be rolling and rolling the scroller, and you might only have gone up one line or two.

Bad – The LG Shine is probably a bit overrated, especially since the efficiency of the phone is scarified for the look, but it does have its good points. Still, I probably wouldn’t recommend it to anyone, with so many other better phones on the market—at better prices, too. Very nice looking, the photos taken by the outside camera are surprisingly good. It’s relatively easy to use, and isn’t too big. The screen is a bit annoying, because it’s hard to see things in sunlight. The battery doesn’t last very long, and the inside camera is less than impressive. It is especially annoying to take photos, as the camera sound can’t be turned off and is pretty loud. The most major negative is the weight! The metal look is great, but really it becomes more of a nuisance because the phone is so damn heavy.

OK – This is the best looking phone I have ever seen. Its stainless steel body is so well constructed. It just feels so solid and has an air of quality. It is very thin to fit in your pocket but large enough to hold comfortably in your hand. The screen is very bright, very colourful and very clear. Unfortunately, there are some big drawbacks with this phone. It repeatedly turns itself off or freezes (for me, about once a month). After 2 weeks the screen cracked. The battery’s life is relatively short (1 – 2 days). There are a few little usability niggles as well. When you get a SMS, no notification appears on the screen but a tiny little envelope at the top. I have gone a whole day without noticing I’ve received messages. If LG had fixed these big problems, it would have been one of the best, most attractive phones on the market.

With all the foibles, I still love this phone… and then it lets me down again… Looks awesome, very solid build, ergonomic, screen is beautiful viewing, screen is scratch proof if you buy aftermarket protective film. Unreliable, turns itself off, short battery life, poor SMS notifications, very delicate screen, easily scratched screen (without film)

Excellent – i upgraded to this phone once my old one died and i love it! its cool slides and metalic very fashionable and slim and acts like a mirror although i never used it as one. its camera is 2 way which is handy, had no problems with battery as yet, i got a clear plastic cover case with it which is nice and doesnt lessen the niceness of it. out of the phones out now this was the best options and so far still is. excellent phone lots of memory has video function tons of accesories came with it and looks great
