LG U880 (2007)

OK – This is a sturdy phone from LG in a sense that it won't crack when you drop it a few times. Initially, I liked it. Besides the usual stuff of making calls and sending messages, it could take pictures and videos, send MMS and go on the internet. However, the cons quickly outweighed the pros. The phone itself outlasts the battery life. The battery life would deteriorate rapidly if I played games, took pictures or videos or made a voice call. Also, the flip top lid became loose quickly. -Several colour options
-Swivel camera
-Able to go on the internet -No FM radio
-Battery runs out quickly
-Low resolution camera resulting in poor images and videos
Good – I actually think this phone is quite good. It never let me down, except towards the end of 2 years, the hinge cracked, so i had to superglue it - very carefully so it would still open. but i guess that was the only real problem, and yes the battery didn't last the full 2 years - had to replace it. but otherwise, for a fairly basic and free (in my case) i have to say it was worth it! I was talked into it because it was free on a plan, and it actually turned out to be quite good. not much comes on the phone - you have to download decent ringtones and games etc if you want that - and the camera isn't the best.
OK – Well i was initially in love with this phone. I loved the flip phone style. But then later on, my fone broke, and although it still functions, the hinge on one of the side of the fone is broken.. :( Also, as mentioned before it reall has poor battery life. Geez. I connect it to the charger, it charges for 2-3minutes and then it appears the battery is full. But it still hasnt even been charged properly. The phone ends up dying even when you try to make a phone call.
Oh well, it was good til it lasted. - i love the appearance of the phone. I purchased a pink one from 3.
- i was fan of the swivelling camera. So u can see yourself on the screen when you take a photo. :D - photos turn out poor quality especially when taken in very dark surroundings.
even if the flash is on, it duznt make much difference.
- poor battery life
OK – I have had this phone for about 3 and a half years and it has been pretty good but recently it has gone quite bad, you have to press the buttons a couple of times for it to respond sometimes, and now the battery only lasts for a day. The camera takes pretty bad photos. You can call people and text people so thats pretty much all you need. It has all the features you need. Its a pretty good phone and it has lasted for agers, but it is now time for a new one. This phone looks really good with the white and pink. It has a big screen with good colour. The features are good enough. The camera is pretty bad. The battery life is quite disappointing, it only lasts for about a day.
Terrible – I do not recommend this product as it it flawed as disscussed in cons. Maybe the newer models out now do not have this problem. However for the battery life I will give this phone a rating of 1 - Poor. It looks good in the 'pink' colour and this is the only reason I bought this phone for my wife. Camera is bad quality. It makes phone calls and SMS Battery Life. I would never buy the U880 again and I would strongly deter anyone from buying this model. I was lucky to get 1 full day of battery life, and thats with 1 or 2 incoming calls. LG attempted a fix, which included upgraded software and new battery, however after 2 weeks it happened again.
