Good initially but poor quality with short life span – I purchased this television. Initially it was good, but it started to get a blue tint in the middle of the screen after three years - and by four years, a blue tint covered the entire screen and it suffered from low brightness, so much so we need to replace the television as it's too hard to see. Note there were period's through Covid where the tv… Read more

was not used for months. I looked online and saw that many people had complained about backlights declining in short time where they had LG televisions. I'd expect a product of LG's brand - and the original price -- to last a lot longer than it did. I called customer service but they said there was nothing they would do. I won't but LG again after this experience.

Best TV I Ever Had – My very first UHD 4k TV I couldn't be more happy with it! Well worth the $869. Picture is crisp clear, was very easy to connect to all my other devices. The only thing I dont like is the wheel on the remote, watching catch up tv can be hard with the wheel on the remote.... trying to pause, fast forward etc becomes hard because if you turn that… Read more ·  1

wheel a tiny bit it will exit outta catch up, there is no actual play/pause buttons only the wheel. Other then that I love my TV.

Incredible quality – My first ever UHD TV, and it has been amazing so far for watching UHD content from providers like Netflix, using my Apple TV 4k, and playing games on my PS4 Pro. The magic remote makes it really easy to navigate, even when needing to type in text (e.g. login details). Show details ·  1

Great Smart TV – I was warned before I bought a Smart TV that they were difficult and clunky to operate and that I'd end up needing something like a Chromecast anyway, but that hasn't been the case at all. The operating system and apps on this TV are really easy to use and I've had no trouble with it. The picture quality is very natural looking and of a high… Read more

standard and the sound quality is great too. It connects seamlessly to my WiFi and I haven't had any trouble streaming with apps like Stan and Netflix. I also don't have any problem playing movie files from a USB but some friends have had issues with the same files on different brands of TV's. The USB and other ports are easy to access. The only criticism I have of the TV is that every now and then it will shut down and restart on its own while I'm using it, which can be a touch annoying in the middle of a movie, but it happens fairly infrequently and I would still buy this TV if I had to choose again.

43 is enough for me – Picture quality is good -- but I tell ya it's weird watching old movies on it. Some things are just better suited to an old CRT. The LG looks like it almost gives _too much_ detail, you know what I mean? I plugged in some extra speakers because I like a bit more bass but the in-built speakers are surprisingly good. Four HDMI ports is plenty… Read more

but I wish the USB ports were just a little more accessible.

The LG webOS (or whatever it's called) is, I am told, one of the best, and I guess I don't have any complaints but I haven't used any other system so I don't have anything else to compare it to.

A good quality feeling remote is something many companies overlook but this one is very nice.

I have tried gaming on it but it seems laggy and doesn't look right. Maybe it's just my regular PS4 labouring under the need to output a lot of pixels but if I was looking for a tv to specifically hook up in the gaming room, I'd get a different TV.

The best – The response time of this TV is really high which is a key factor for me to buy it. Add great picture quality to it which make it perfect for my gaming console. I've needed only two HDMI ports, this TV has more than enough. Sound quality is agreeable too. The Buffer of this TV has enough capacity too.  Show details

Excellent! – After doing plenty of research I chose this television because of the great reviews. I asked the guy in the store if there was something better for this price. He said he owns this model because it is the best. The setup is SO easy. The image is gorgeous. The sound isn't perfect (no TVs are due to their thinness) but highly recommended. Shop… Read more

around- I saved $200 by price matching. Harvey Norman were convenient but I found a better price online. They matched the price and I saved a stack of money.

Very happy with LG TV – The picture quality is very good although the blacks are sometimes too black. Inbuilt speakers are good. The sound effects are realistic, and connection to an external amplifier and speakers is only worthwhile if seriously listening to music. Connection to the internet is easy and much more convenient with this smart TV than laptop and HDMI. … Read more

The remote is a little awkward and takes some time to learn, and selecting apps such as iview is a bit cumbersome. I have bought many LG 42in TVs over the years and never had a problem with any of them.

LG is a winner! – LG makes very good tv's. This is the second time i have brought one. I think the 4K technology is fantastic. Picture quality is clear and crisp, the colours are slightly better than Sony. I owned a Hisense two TV's before this one and it does not compare. The speakers are good. Many USB and DMI ports. Also with this TV you get the smart remote,… Read more

this remote is so good! You can use it to point and click at anything on the screen, type and select movies. The remote also gives you quick access to things like Netflix, Amazon and apps. Love it!

Very good! – The picture quality is very good and i am very satisfied with the built in speakers aswel. It has 2 usb and 2 HDMI ports that are very useful aswel.not really satisfied with its app as it doesnt have many on it and the operating system could do with an update.  Show details

Decent TV with great features – I am in love with the remote, it is sort of like a Wii controller, it is a very intuitive design. I also love the voice search function, it gets it right 9/10 times. The LG Smart TV interface is great. There is just 1 thing I'm not sure about - the backlight brightness is a little lacking, even when I turned off the power save function, I can see… Read more

the backlight bleed through in the bottom right corner. The picture quality is -pretty- good but should really be better for the price. I find it a little hard to see when there are scenes that are darker, and especially hard to see when the room is bright (even on the 'Bright Room' setting. The unit's built-in speakers are average, but there's a headphone jack at the back to plug in your own speakers.

Great tv – Good colour, skin tones. Easy to use remote. Great features. Sound is good. Easy start up and easy to attach to stand. Satisfied all round. Had a complete lemon with original purchase. Issue never seen before either by myself, antenna man (who i hired as i thought it was aerial issues) or the store. Was replaced immediately and new tv is fantastic.  Show details

Great TV – Very easy to set up, sounds good and a super clear picture. I didn't want a very large one as my lounge isn't big and this one offers good value. Connect to web easily.

Amazing Smart TV – This TV was amazing, for a great price we have a large screen, smart TV that can be connected to the internet and amazing pictures. We are easily able to connect to You tube, Stan and Netflix and watch all our favourites as well as record and rewind TV, not to mention watch it all in 3D if we like! Highly recommend.  Show details

Not compatible with many devices – The TV itself is okay, we brought it to use as a monitor in our meeting room. Stupidly we followed the Bing Lee salesman's advice because these new LG TV's have wireless connectivity (not just network but other devices like laptops). HOWEVER... we found the wireless connectivity doesn't recognise most devices unless it's something like an LG… Read more

phone. No problem, we'll just hard wire laptops and desktops through the HDMI cable BUT...nope, LG's don't recognise older Microsoft software running laptops Nor any MacBook unless it's 2016 onwards. So basically the nerds at LG have made this TV so advanced it doesn't recognise devices that are more than 16 months old. POINTLESS...We have an older Phillips TV (still 4K) in another room. No problems with that. Also my Sony TV at home runs hdmi devices fine. This LG.... crap.

Good TV – I purchased this TV a few weeks ago. The picture quality is satisfactory but not brilliant. The speakers are poor so I have attached a 2.1 speaker system to it, which improves the sound a lot. All the tv speakers really need is more bass. It was very easy to setup and it is quite light as well, even when it's in the box. The remote takes a… Read more

bit of getting used to. Youtube works brilliantly so I no longer need my Chromecast.4 HDMI ports are more than enough, and recording on a USB thumb drive is easy.

Excellent tv – This is an excellent Rv overall, though slightly expensive for a 43" to but this is justified by all the features. The picture quality is amazing, especially with HDR content and sound quality is great. It has a decent amount/variety of ports though I prefer that one of the USB ports be USB 3 instead of 2. Web OS 3.5 is a innovative smart TV OS with many spectacular features.  Show details

Love it! So 'smart'! – Very good picture quality and sound. Good colour balance, quite realistic. Very clever navigation system with their smart remote control. So easy to search the web and watch anything you want online from YouTube to movies or documentary. We have had it for about one year now and we are still so happy we bought it! ...and good price too (about $1000 only)  Show details
