Terrible – I would not recommend this phone to anyone. The battery does not last long, trying to use the keypad during phone calls (retrieving email) is frustrating and the software for accessing files is incompatible with latest version of Windows (LG advised me they will not be upgrading the software). plan ($19 per month). The battery does not last long, I have to recharge it every night or it will run out of charge. It seems to have a lot of glitches with the software driving it and sometimes the touch screen gets frozen. It automatically goes into sleep mode followed by the hand lock function even though I have turned these functions to 'off'. The problem with this is if you are needing to access the keypad during the call (eg when retrieving voicemail) you have to keep pushing the hand lock key to reactivate the screen so you can use the keypad. Another major flaw is the software for transferring files (eg photos) from your phone to a computer. It is unfriendly and incompatible with Windows 7.

Bad – My first touch phone and it has put me off them a fair bit. Came with high recomendations but hasn't lived up to them. The dodgy screens have been the killer. touchscreen I've had installed works better than the past ones. The frustration with the touchscreen has probably caused me not to use it as much as I would have in the past. Battery life is OK as long as you don't use it. Talk time life is shocking.

quality is great and so is the battery life. I like how I can hook it up to my computer to charge it, makes life so much easier! Screen is nice and big and menus are easy to navigate. Full featured, light, easy to use, big screen.

navigate through the options, great picture and video quality,i got it for free from lg. can put pictures on the computer from the phone and charge it aswell. got it free but it locked to lg so doesnt have the internet options especially because im with 3, screen hard to see if out in the sun, charge will be on 3 bars at some stage in the day then the next it will beep at me for low battery.

Excellent – Easy to use mobile with a great selection of functions. Awesome 5 megapixel camera with flash and zoom that takes better than expected photos. like i first expected. Ive dropped it so many times and its just a tough phone. It has all the necessary cables/accessories all in the one package when you buy it and with a newer model released the price has dropped dramatically. Can be easy to get minor cosmetic damage after dropping it a few times, but nothing a cheap phone cover wont fix.

I love the 5 mp camera and the photo's turn out beautifully for a mobile phone. Its the best mobile I have ever had. My Nokia never even had this good of camera in it. I picked this LG Viewty up for $288 and it came with a car charger, ear phones, blue tooth ear piece and home charger plus spare stylus. It also came with a clear cover for the phone and a disc and hand book. The video it can take is an awesome part to this phone and the touch screen is awesome. this phone has so much for a small price tag and well worth every cent. I can't fault the phone other than to say it is a little hard to see the screen in full sunlight.

camera, great quality and easy to use. Sturdy, looks great, fits in your pocket and not too difficult to use. It's hard to do anything in harsh light with this, because you can't see the screen at all.

they can benefit you. the phone is packed with 120 fps recording and its clarioty for taking videos is the best i have ever seen on the phone. there are many options ot improve the quality even more just play around with the settings and dont settle with the default settings as most people do, that is why there is complaints. i loved the sleek design and you can buy some decent leather covers from hong kong to help protect the phone. would have liked the tv out cable as they dont sell it here in australia. magnificant photo quality and screen resolution. its crystal clear in mp3 sound and has awesome video recoring and playback at 120fps would have liked a keypad for faster typing in light conditions. no tv out cable.

with its video camera at a very high frame rate. So you can actually take a video of a water balloon popping and play it back at a very slow frame rate. This feature in a phone costing only $299 is simply amazing.

My only bugbear is that it came with very few apps and ultimately does not come across as glamorous as the iphone. However if you just want a fully featured and great phone I could not recommend it more highly. letters are constantly showing up wrong, which isn't great if you're in a hurry. Same goes with the touch screen "buttons". When I was outside, I couldn't see the screen properly and when you have normal phone with buttons, it's easy to know where the buttons are, so you don't really need to use the screen. But with the touch screen, it's difficult. I constantly kept getting asked if I was drunk texting! Also, the shutter sound on the camera can not be turned off or put on silent.

easy to get scratch, so you have to cover it to prevent this happening.

The handwritting tool is not good to use, it is not sensitive enough to let you write some words.

The scroll also is not sensitive, it is hard to use.
