Dont Buy their Washing Machines!!! You have been WARNED!!! – Purchased our washing for 1,000.00 from Good Guys and had less than 4 years when it started leaking water all over the floor. Called LG and they sent a repair guy out that took the washing machine away to repair. After a week he got in touch and said the drum had a crack from the lint being stuck and rubbing on it....you see there are NO lint… Read more

filters in this machine! He could not replace the drum as LG had stopped making them for this model. So what did this mean??? It meant we had to purchase a new washing machine and guess what??? Pay for the repair guy!!!! How bad is that! They wouldn’t cover it even though there was no way I could have prevented this from happening! But the icing on the cake was it took LG customer service 3 weeks to come to this decision. So 3 weeks of me taking my family of 2 young children’s laundry over to family house to wash. Never again LG!!!

Good machine – Cleans clothes quite well Seems to gentle enough on the clothes & is not to loud when it's running, unlike the previous Simpson top loader we had, which was terrible & problematic from new The normal/cotton wash is what we find best for our clothes, occasionally use the other wash features , only down side to the machine we have found is that it doesn't have a lint filter & sometimes leaves fluff/ lint on your clothes  Show details

Worst Machine – After 6months of use, the water wouldn't drain properly and leaves sludge type in the bottom, so everytime it fills with water there are remnants of the sludge in the washing. It's very distressing. Some washes there will be very minimal, other times it is right through the wash. The only good thing about this machine is the drum size and delay feature. Please don't go buying this machine it will only cause much heartache and distress. I am very fussy with having clean clothes so there is the very odd occasion that the wash is done without remnants of this sludge. LG have given no support on this problem. It also really needs a lint feature.

Love this machine ! – This LG has got to be the best washing machine it cleans the close well and it dosen't wear out clothing ! It is sometimes a bit noisy when on spin cycle but what I really like is that I can fit quilts in with no problems at all . Plus I love how it plays a tune when finished.  Show details

clove oil reacted with the plastic. It does seem to be pretty gentle on clothes but gets them clean. They do twist up a bit but I think that's just a necessary result of a washing cycle. I need a new dryer and I'll be going with LG because I am thrilled with this product.

Content – I have been happy with this machine. So long as you don't wash cottons with nylon or synthetics, the fluff doesn't leave lines on the synthetics. Large drum and I like the soak function, the previous machine we had to leave the lid up for the soaking to happen. It's quiet and has been efficient for what we have wanted, it's the only electronic maid I've had that gives a happy tune when it is finished it's wash:)  Show details

Huge capacity. Does a good job – Huge capacity 10 kg top loading washing machine. Cleans well. Quiet. Spin cycle – clothes come out fairly dry, better than previous washing machine. Minor drawback clothes get a bit tangled during washing. Would recommend this machine.

A piece of crap – Absolute piece of crap, who ever came up with this self cleaning idea needs to go back to university and learn that throwing all the lint and crap back into the wash drum does not clean clothes, the bloody thing stinks from old crap sitting somewhere you can't get at, I am going to throw it out and I will never buy an LG product again, neither will anyone I can talk out of buying an LG product.  Show details

Crap. Never again – It's hardly washes the clothes. Leaves line and fluff all over the clothes. NEVER wash blacks after a white load, you'll regret it. Quiet machine. Worst machine ever owned – It's 10kg but recommended only 2 kg wash load, has no filter so dust and fluff are left in clothes, can't wash bedding unless I use dryer when drying, to get the fluff and dust out or vacuum bedding after line dry. MONGREL MACHINE – WORST WASHING MACHINE I have ever owned, only 3 days old and it's a LEMON!!!!!!!! Out of balance all the time and the few time it did wash it took FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! terrible washing machine – This washing machine is terrible in my life. all my clothes are getting dirty and every time dirt lint are coming gain. I am very stressful. Part of the family – We have had this machine 4 months now and have welcomed it to the family. delay etc to time a wash for when you wake up/get home - I could not live without this!

It does have quick function which is about 45mins but I found it doesnt wash all that well.

Ive had no issues with lint, clothes tearing or poor washing like others but I do add extra water to the wash as recommended by others.

Amazing washer – I love this machine. We have an 8 person household and this thing gets a workout! I love the fact I can do a quickwash or a longer cycle depending on how yucky the clothes are. Only downside is the normal wash cycle is pretty long. Lint can be an issue if you don't clean the machine. I've found washing pods are the best to use in this machine.

I hate it!!!! So disappointed – I get so frustrated every time I use this washing machine. The cycles are sooo long, average time 1.5 hours. I use this machine every day sometimes twice. It takes all day to get washing done. What makes me so frustrated is that the clothes don't come out clean. I have two small children and there clothes always look grubby. Waste of my money, I wish I had never brought it.

Horrible – I bought this machine a month ago having liked a couple of other LG products. It seemed just what I wanted with a nice big 10 kg drum. My loads vary from a quarter to three quarters full. NOTHING I've tried and I've done a lot of research and testing will make the lint go away, and I spend a lot of time trying to get rid of it by hand. I've been in contact with LG and they've asked for photos of the washing with lint, I really can't see how that's going to help come to the decision that I'm right and this machine is the worst ever. Now I've got to wait to get the run around again where they'll tell me to try different things and to offer to send out a repairman for which privilege I'll have to pay over a $100 because physically there's nothing wrong with it. I want my money back so that I can get a decent machine that doesn't produce lint.

LG 10KS WASHER – I'm not happy, just purchased the 10kgs 4 days ago, and it's hopeless, the amount of lint left on clothes and detergent left on clothes. Why LG? Previous had a 7.5kgs Simpson and that had a far better wash, i'm still washing the same amount of clothes in the LG 10Kgs and the 7.5kgs and the end clothes just don't look clean. TAKE IT BACK. Not worth the $1000.

quick wash cycle for small loads.

If you're deciding whether or not to get this machine, just do it. Your clothes will thank you for it. Well worth the expense. Everything. Just the lengthy wash cycles but I think this is why it does such a great job of cleaning the clothes.

Awesome – I've owned my new LG for 6wks now and I love it. It washes so much better than my old front loader. My clothes smell nice and I can do only 4 loads per weekend instead of 10. It's great. I've got a small problem where there is water going into the display but I'm about to have it replaced with a new one. I still love it. Everything. Beats the front loader hands down. Nothing yet.

Glad i paid a bit xtra for quality – Love this machine, works a treat, has a huge washing bowl with no agitator, very quiet seems to have no lint and has a new feature tub clean which is useful if you wash in cold water as all machines get a build up of soap oil and dirt over time which was the case with my old washer which would leave oily stains on the clean clothes and ruin them.… Read more ·  1
