Dreadful

published

Only after 3 months use there is definitely something off with the way this machine drains water, which is making my clothes smell. I can’t find a filter to clean - apparently only a tech can do this. I live remote so not able to get someone to look at it. The tub clean is so unbelievably ineffective despite running for 5+ hours. I used to only trust LG…not anymore. I thought maybe I bought a lemon but I can see from other reviews I’m not alone in having made a very expensive, bad purchase.

Overall is the Worst Ever

published

Did a lot of research, but was a total disaster decision. Wanted to be "boss of the wash" (remember that slogan?) Cannot leave it operating alone. Changes set program regularly. Longest running, most inefficient wash.

Purchased in for $1,150.

Hate it

Automatic water level doesn't even cover the load
A regular wash takes over 1 hour 30 minutes
Buttons on front so when you lean over you press them & change the settings
Limited downloadable cycles, not enough customisations

Disappointed is an understatement

published

Having only had this thing for one week and this machine is useless , instructions are few yet the machine is complicated. Water level is totally inaccurate, the length of the cycles are ridiculous to say the least .. I would gladly exchange it for an actual washing machine, you know … one that actually washes clothes in in an acceptable time .. I really really hate it and will never recommend this useless imposter and poor excuse for a washing machine..l

The freight train rolls in again & again

published

I purchased this washing machine in May 2020 & is the worse washing we have ever purchased.
It is the loudest washing I have ever heard running, so bad it sounds like a freight train coming.
It tangle the clothes
Does not put enough water into the machine
It would be good to get some decent answers & service from LG
This was a big mistake buying this machine

Biggest mistake!!

published

Biggest mistake buying this machine. It does not wash the clothes well, leaves lint (I separate by colour and fabric type). Even when finished, some items of clothing do not appear to have been washed at all - I end up hand washing!!! I'm now resigned to the fact that I'm stuck with a machine that doesn't do what I paid for!!! The dash is easy to understand, however the quality of the wash is disappointing to say the least. I've had the machine for about six months. Also, all my tub cleans have taken about seven hours!!!! Way to go for energy and water efficiency!!

Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $1,200.

Worst Washing Machine ever

published

Water level is not enough to wash clothes properly. We also have to do a separate Ultra Spin when the cycle has finished because if we don't we can still wring water out of the clothes with our hands. The settings will not allow us to do an Ultra Spin within the cycle we choose. For example, we select Cold Wash, Quick Wash and try to select Ultra Spin but it does not accept it, and only allows us to do a High Spin which is why we then have to do an Ultra Spin after the washing cycle has finished. Many people have looked at the manual to see if we are doing something wrong, but we are not. Its just has a mind of its own.

Good and bad

published

The good news is the drum is the same size as the 14kg model meaning you can fit a heap in a single load. Bad news is the water levels (and in particular the fuzzy logic water level sensing) are ridiculous. I manually set the water level every wash as the fuzzy logic hopelessly underestimates the required water. But even when manually selecting the levels they make no sense. Level 7 of 10 is closer to 85% of the height of the bowl and at the other end anything under level 4 is unusable...heres a photo of the amount of water on level 3 which doesn't even cover the agitator...level 1 is barely enough for a teabag!

Just pour liquid soap in the bottom before the clothes. The water levels are stupid...I use 4 for a small wash, 7 for medium and 9 for large.
