Lg washing machine 14kg top loader not quite 5 years and just stopped wouldn't turn on. Machine looked after extremely well rarely washed . Lg customer service absolutely disgusting would not help. Lg panel In the front are shocking qauilty. I would never recommend LG ever again after loyalty of 30 years. Nope washing machine and microwave rarely used and age both just stopped working. Funny both out of warranty. The amount of money they costs the warranty is poor do your homework before you buy. Just scammers

authorised sevice agent and call out cost will be borne by us if we proceed. . There is gap where the screw cover and clear plastic film meet. Moister can seep through this gap and cause bubbling. Not sure if liquid can seep through to the electical side underneath causing electric shock ? We would appreciate if anyone has experienced this problem. The bubble has since then expanded, I intend to take the matter to LG South Korea as they have a wide world feed back on these types of issues.
Poor quality product, inefficient customer service – We bought LG WASHING MACHINE FRONT L in 2021. After 2 years we started having issue with the door opening. The door was replaced in Jan 24 Now the rubber on the new door started to disintegrate. We strictly follow usage instructions and were surprised to see this. They said the was not under the warranty because the issue is "due to incorrect usage"!
Save your money! – The worst washing machine I have ever purchased. If I could give a negative rating, I would. You have to layer your clothes into the machine so that it doesn’t go off balance. to light - which we did but didn’t help. When it does get through a wash cycle, the clothes are so tangled, it’s hard to pull them apart. We are going back to a front loader and throwing this one on the tip!

This washing machine is absolute garbage. Don’t waste your money on it – Right from the start this washing machine gave me nothing but trouble. So many cracks started appearing within a couple of months. This included the top panel plus the lid and the parts that house the hinges. by the useless Good Guys extended warranty which is as useful as used toilet paper. Both hinges fell out as their casing is cracked and as usual LG has accused me of being rough with it. This is completely untrue. I am very gentle with this washing machine because it cost a small fortune. I’ve called LG numerous times in the past month with the promise of the resolution team ringing me back. They never do. They refuse to provide a warranty for their repairs or replacement parts. This machine is huge and I can see why cracks appear - it thrashes around when washing. Other repairs that have been done besides replacing the lid numerous times included replacing the entire casing due to cracks and the controls because they stopped working. The fact it has the control panel at the front and no lint filter are annoying. Don’t waste your money on this machine as it will cause you nothing but problems. And LG will blame you for breaking it even though the same issues were repaired under their warranty. Their customer service is appalling. They’re incredibly rude and unhelpful. Repairs and replacement parts should be covered by a warranty. LG make poor quality products which means you’ll need to replace them after the warranty expires.
Stay clear of LG – Absolutely terrible machine from very first wash. Left greasey oily marks all over clothes and totally ruined them. LG denied a faulty machine and blames it on too much washing powder which is not the case at all. Wouldn't replace it. Been a 5 mth battle with no end in sight. LG's service is discusting! Worst washing machine EVER!! – The only good thing about this washing machine is it's size. I have owned washing machines for over 30 years now and this is the absolute worst. There is no filter on the machine so to remove the link on black items they need to be washed twice, put into a dryer to remove the 'lint' or manual remove the lint. I have tried everything. colours, higher water level, larger rinse cycle, same fabrics, rinse between each wash and nothing helps. Contacted customer support and there is nothing they can do except send someone to look at the machine at my cost. Some actually come out dirtier than what they went in. (lint and dog hair). My gym pants are always the worst. After owning the pants for years, they now have those small white balls stuck to the side of them. Makes me so cranky. The machine is only 1.5 years old so would love someone to take it off my hands so I can buy a decent washing machine.
Door Lock issue cracked the lid hinge area – I have the machine nearly 8 months. Have same issues with water levels, can't seem to have enough water for the lowest levels so end up doing a higher water wash than needed. Seems to go off balance easy. sitting flush on one side when closed and had to be held in place gently so the lock/unlock could activate/deactivate. The alignment of the lid was getting worse, have now realised the lid is cracked near the hinge on that side. LG support have deemed that it's not a fault but excessive force by customer on the lid when in the upright position. I can't reach all the way into the machine to get all the washing out so need a grabber to get the rest of the clothes out, thus there is no way I would be able to lean on the lid whilst it's in the open position. I can only access the machine from the front, not enough room on either side of the washer to go from the side so again no way possible to lean on the lid whilst open.
Also there seems to be bits in my washing that I can not work out where it's coming from. Kind of looks like oil coloured flakes of gauze or filter material. I've ran a tub clean and no difference.
Also the controls would be better at the back.
Very disappointed with the machine and the LG support is horrendous. I've near had a washing machine lid do this before. I'll never buy another LG product after this.

out to repair it only for the service guy to tell me that he has to refer it back to LG due to the multiple issues with this machine. LG inform me that the case is closed and I am no better off than before I raised the issues with LG. SHOCKING SERVICE and no repairs done ..... ( multiple error codes PE, IE, UE, DL the DL seems to be an ongoing issue with my machine, I cant get the tub wash cycle to work properly as there is an error code that wont let it progress (PE), I have BLACK GREASE scattered on bed linen (NOT SCUD BUT DEFINITELY GREASE) and this is on multiple different washes including good clothing , baby clothing and also towels. The machine makes a horrendous noise when on spin cycle and it is now also leaking water from under it. (this doesnt matter if its a small cycle of 2L or a large load of 7 or 10L), seriously LG this is not acceptable for a product that is under warranty ..... Any consumer out there think twice prior to purchasing....
Worse machine ever – Purchased six months ago Now a horrid knocking noise so needs repairing (not out of Balance.) Spin cycle does not spin well. Tub too deep ,can hardly reach. tablets will improve the state of this machine. When building this machine, LG spent most their effort in built in obsolescence. The plastic parts, such as the drum cover, are designed to break right when your warranty expires. Overall this is a disgraceful product that shouldn’t be allowed to be sold.
WORST MACHINE..! – Sorry to say this machine is beyond disappointing. And, lg phone help is even worse. The machine constantly tangles and rips shirts and long sleeve tops. Will barely ever finish a load of washing with an error unbalanced code flashing. Upon fixing the unbalanced clothing, it then fills with water again to then just tangle everything AGAIN..!!! so frustrating. It’s taken me over 24 hours multiple times to finish just one load of washing. What a waste of energy and water. When calling for help, all the call centre suggest was washing each item separately. Are you serious.!!!????? Beyond frustrated and disappointed Lg

BRAND NEW MACHINE WITH NOTHING BUT ISSUES – Purchased this washing machine in May 2020 and it has not worked properly since it arrived. There are 10 water levels on the machine which can be set either manually or use the machines automatic sensor to detect the water level. senses these levels, the machine puts about 1-inch of water into the machine so my smaller loads of washing are NOT being washed - they're just swishing around in an inch of water barely even getting wet !! The only way I was able to wash was by manually setting the water level at 4 or higher meaning my small loads of washing are being washed in a huge amount of unnecessary water. I lodged a request for a technician who came today and he replaced the water pressure sensor and it still didn't fix the problem - still only an inch of water for water levels 1 to 3. Now he needs to go back to LG and request a replacement control board to see if this will fix the issue. Not great for a brand new machine. After the technician left I tried to do a big load of washing (Level 10) and now the machine won't fill higher than than 1-inch of water on ALL water levels. Bit difficult to wash a full load of bedding in this amount of water !!!!! I am not happy that a brand new machine is having so many issues and I now can't use it at all. I should be getting a new replacement isn't of being mucked around with repeat technician visits.
