to repair in a reasonable period hence we had to throw it out. Unfortunately there isnt much choice in Australia for large washers hence had to buy same model again.

After 18 months, a fault in the door lock mechanism due to moisture corrosion developed with error code DL. Luckily we could coax the lock to work with a good thump on the side of the machine. Also luckily LG service have been able to visit and then secure parts in 2 weeks (still way too long).
