Lilydale GWM

A WARNING to anyone considering a GWM vehicle in Melbourne. I purchased a GWM Cannon UTE, 11 months back from GWM Lilydale, hoping for reliability and peace of mind but instead, I’ve been left stranded multiple times on the road due to faulty fuel filter at 15,000 km and now stuck with the fuel pump failure at just 27,000 km. The Carplay and rear sensors also dont work, GWM Burwood says that "they are UNABLE to diagnose any issues", even after showing them proof on videos & pictures!

It’s been 3 weeks since my car broke down and it’s now sitting at GWM Burwood with NO clear update or timeline. I’ve contacted GWM Lilydale, where I bought the car and surprised to see that they are ot interested in taking this issue seriously. Unable to get in touch GWM Australia too.

The lack of responsibility, coordination and urgency is shocking!

Meanwhile, I’m paying loan instalments for a car I can’t drive, relying on others just to manage basic daily needs.

This is not what you expect after investing in a “new” car.

To anyone thinking of trusting this brand: DON’T. GWM is NOT reliable. The after-sales experience is worse.
