completely stopped. It somestimes takes two days for them to return the kids calls. Eventually the kids started complaining that, live tutor isnt for them as it is hard getting them to help . I was told I have signed a two years contract when i called to cancel the membership. Humm had already gave Livetutor $ 5700 . So the kids have stopped usingthe service ages ago and till date I havent receive any call from Live Tutor to ask why the kids quit or havent been completing their assignments. jumping on the cliff. My kids don't like it either because once they got stuck and tried to call the tutor, they will get advised that the tutor will call them back and mostly after 40mins. By the time they call back, the kids are already not in front of the computer. More than $5k is a lot to waste for a service you can't rely upon. Plus the management team will do their best just to keep ripping off your pockets

want. I was being told that it was an old issue because they hired more tutor and timing issue has been resolved. But, it never got resolved. I was being told that if I am unhappy with their service, i can cancel the contract anytime with any fee and full refund will be available. But, I had to really fight with to cancel my contract. Their attitude completely changed. I try to call them twice, three or four time in a day but no response. They still owe my money and not ready to give. If i could, i will give ZERO stars. Stay away from this liar and unreliable company.

fantastic when it works – We did LiveTutor all of 2020 and 2021. It's often hard to get a tutor to call when you need one or they would call late in the evening when the kids are going to bed (Year 4/5 and Year 6/7) and we would have to find another day we can do it (fitting in with sport etc). doing in class each week (I'm providing a math outline at the beginning of each term that I'm getting from the kid's teachers) to allow for the delays in tutoring. I persisted because the program and the actual tutoring is fantastic!! You get the odd tutor that is a bit useless but most of them are good. Our girls went from struggling with basics, hating math and getting low C's to understanding/enjoying(!) math and getting high B's, our high school girl almost got an A in her last 2 school reports. Our 2 year contract has just finished and we signed up to continue and adding English.

the work my son has to practice for an exam they did put some questions up on his page but it was for yr 11….. he is only yr 7 so completely pointless. I would not recommend this company to anyone and now have had to pay another tutor on top of this causing a lot of financial strain on our family.

and nothing has changed since then. Every time my kids try to call the tutor, they were always told that someone will call them back. Most of the time, the tutors will call back at least 40 mins after calling them and by that time, my kids are already doing something else or we are already on the table for dinner. It is a lot of money to waste and don't fall for the agent's sweet words that your kids will get higher grades in no time. That is not possible if the tutors are out of reach. Think about it really hard if you want to try Livetutor. We are now locked in 2 years contract and there's no way to get out but to endure the remaining time with them. More than $5k is a lot of money to waste for nothing. And the worst part, my kid's grades have no progress at all so now we are paying other tutoring program on top of paying Livetutor.

Useless and scamming people – They told me u can break the subscription anytime when joining time.But that's not true.Disappointed with service and no quality of study materials and no support from teachers.please don't go with them

Dont sign up they take your money even if you are not using the service – Very hard to cancel and contact them. No customer service. They don’t care if they take your money but do not use the service. Very unsatisfied. Wish we never signed up. Every week we loose money with no contact from them. This is great! 2kids for the price of 1 – Peter is an awesome man who came to our house to discussed the benefits of taking this tutor online for our kids. 2 kids for the price of 1 is a bonus. It's so helpful for the kids who struggle on their Math and English

basis I could break the contract and he told me if my income was reduced and affecting me financially. Now that my salary is halved, they are refusing to get me out of the service. Apart from the financials, you call their support line, it goes to voicemail. Sometimes they call u back, sometimes they don't. Now, I have been going through the process of contract cancellation and they don't want to cancel it. I have told them to move me to PAYG and give me the differential so that I can pay the penalty and unsubscribe but they aren't shifting grounds.

* They sign you up to a loan with HUMM for the whole subscription period and u will be paying HUMM back. When you request a cancellation, they ask you to call humm to negotiate an extension of loan with them.

Waste of time and money – Long wait time for call back. No one follow up.. how Child is doing or if any pending tasks. You have to invest your time too. So similar aap are available online for $10-$12/month. Some tutors are good but some are just ok. Fantastic help for my kids! – My life has been made that little bit easier. The kids really enjoy the online lessons. Times tables daily is a breeze now and my youngest at school (Year 2) can now do her 4's, 6's and 7's at an amazing speed. They jump on their iPad, practice, and I get some space. LOL
