lesson. And they say they will refund you, but they don't. And if you sign up for their special $50 for 6 lessons offer, watch out, as they will charge you for the subsequent 6 sessions at $82 each. So, you're locked into 12. I was promised a trial session of 6 tutorials, then I could choose to pursue more. That's not the case. They lock you in. It's a scheme. So beware of that going in. Of the 4 tutors we did have, 2 were decent, one was ok, and one was not good at all. It was a terrible experience. Do not use this organisation. You will regret it.

operational - I spent a considerable amount of time on Monday morning to get this rectified given the comment that the sales person made about that parent's needing to be familiar with the hub which is often the cause of the issues people are flagging online in your reviews. To avoid this I wanted to get ahead with this. 2. The first session was full of technical glitches and only 15 mins long - this was a technical issue on the tutors end, the tech support did not stay online to ensure things ran smoothly. 3. The second session was cancelled with 2 hours notice. It's taken a lot to get my son to the point of agreeing to a tutor and to have such a last minute cancellation is really shoddy. No replacement session was offered. Interesting to note customers have to provide 4 hour notice but the company can obviously cancel at any time. With an already demanding schedule for students and parents is unprofessional.

I was not allocated 'teachers' as was promised but high achieving ATAR students which I categorically did not want.

Cluey are impacting the emotional well being of kids that are already struggling and the service model lets these kids down terribly.

I have raised a formal complaint with Cluey for the stress this is causing us and would like a full refund on all the sessions that we have paid for as part of the starter pack. Just waiting for this to be actioned.

Sales people disappear and do not respond to any emails after the funds have been taken.

SCAMMERS I paid for 2 sessions and wanted tutoring for my daughter. I couldn’t log into the hub and missed the first tutorial. All because every thing is in the hub. I called my bank to dispute and filed with netsafe the police and frauds website.

After leaving an independent school, my child was around two years behind in math. Cluey has been amazing, they have brought her up to speed so she feels confident and after 12 months is at the normal level for her age. We can’t recommend Cluey highly enough, they have instilled confidence and a love of math for our child.

We have been using Cluey for 3 years and it has been very useful for both my kids (one is now going into year 7 and the other year 9). Dom is the most amazing tutor who has taken the time to not only really help the kids engage and improve in learning but has also taken to the time to get to know them as well. Can highly recommend Dom and cluey to anyone looking for a tutor for their child.

This process was very easy and they had received my credit card and the tutoring started as requested. and was not contacted to proceed for this training. I then tried to cancel through the messaging/help section on there Hub. However could not get it confirmed that it was cancelled. I tried calling them and returned me to the messaging process that didnt work for them. I ended up deleting my credit card and emailed them multiple times. After another 3 weeks of emailing "payment didnt go through" i finally got a email confirming the cancellation. I definetly do not recomnendn Cluey Learning, and now after talking with other parents there is better teaching platforms online to go to. Hope this helps people and not get caught out.

I eventually managed to reach someone via online chat, at which point I requested a refund and cancellation due to the lack of communication and reliability.

If you’re considering this service, be aware that bookings can be cancelled at short notice without explanation, and follow-up or phone support may be difficult to access. This was not a confidence-building experience, especially when arranging tutoring for a child.

Worst business model, I accidentally paid for a session thinking it was a trial and they said they will not refund they only provide a refund if they cancel a tutoring session if we do we don't get a refund. I would not recommend this company. It's a money making business model.

All was good and my son found the tutoring useful but we were let down right at the end, when the last session was unexpectedly cancelled an hour before and no make up session was offered. This was just days before the final exam so pretty poor support when it counted most.

We were so pleased with the progress our son made in English. The tutor, Ahmadreza, was excellent at addressing his specific challenges. He really helped to improve our son's grammar skills. Furthermore, his comprehension abilities saw a significant boost. We highly recommend their services for anyone looking for English language support.

capacity to pause tutoring for school holiday periods, and either continue sessions or receive “vouchers” to use later. Once a week was enough for my daughter, and I did not want or need sessions on school holidays, and did not use the vouchers. Cluey did not consult all their members prior to embarking on this change and I would not recommend the this service. The tutor 11/10, Cluey 1/10 rating.

Tutor John has built a very effective relationship with our daughter over the course of the last 18 months. More importantly they get along well and have built a genuine working relationship. The best part is that our daughter can now tell that the tutoring has helped her.

I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 because the Cluey interface and customer experience at times is frustrating.

Tutor has a fantastic manner; professional, warm, friendly, encouraging, engaging, is very good at reading children and knowing when further clarification or explaining is required, works at a good pace- not too fast, not too slow- and has a way of teaching that makes concepts both interesting and easy to learn. Child loves her tutor so much that she’s refusing to even consider anyone else. Best tutor by far- and we’ve tried a few!!!

Erin has been so wonderful for Sammy. She is so patient and really works hard at connecting with him and choosing content of his interest. I love hearing the interesting conversations they are having, while further developing his vocabulary. We love Erin!

I was definitely struggling in maths and Tiffany had been a massive help, I’ve been passing all my tests and building my confidence. I find Tiffany to be easy to talk, chat and laugh with which makes me feel more comfortable to ask for help.

Awesome Maths teacher for my son. Recommended. My son was not really keen to start tuition however he has established a really good rapport with Josef and build up his confidence. He never complained about tuition since he started with Cluey compared to when he was with Kumon

Sian Elliot managed to explain to my daughter concepts that she was struggling at classes at school. She was supportive, patient and very clear in explanations. She provided revision questions and very good feedback. My daughter benefitted enormously from her sessions with Sian.

Christine has been such a positive force for my son, Joe. She has provided the perfect environment of calm, attention and patience to enable Joe to be confident in having a go, learning from his mistakes, retaining vital fundamentals in a way that does not leave Joe tasked or overwhelmed. Shaina is the most amazing tutor. She currently tutors both my children in upper primary school. She thoroughly knows her content, is relatable to the kids, keeps them on track, uses a variety of teaching strategies to help them to understand the concepts. Shaina is friendly and personable; I am sad she can't continue to tutor my kids into High School.
