Installing used product for the price of new once, installing different cheaper product from what they quoted!!! – Igor Sirkis from Local Pro Electrical replaced not working dimmable LED globe at my investment property on 5 November 2021. it. They replaced the transformer with a used one. I told them again to go back and replace with the new one as I paid for new products NOT used. They went back and changed to a new one on the 25 November 2022. However, the light stopped working on the 11 February 2023. I assume they installed used dimmable LED globe as the typical lifespan of an LED globe is 10-20 years. Or the replaced transformer stopped working after 3 months. or maybe the product was installed is not compatible with the existing special type of dimmer that controls the lights. The company refused to go back and fix it. They stated in email that there is no warranty on the light or transformer on the 23 February 2023. They refused to fix it. Igor Sirkis also replaced an old smoke detector with a different model from what I requested and had a quote for on the 11 July 2022. He had to go back and replace it to a correct one. Based on these experiences with the company it is evident that company installs used products instead of quoted new products. And charges for used products as per new. Furthermore, the product fails within 3 months and company does not want to take responsibility stating that there is no warranty on the light or transformer on the email on the 23rd or February 2023 attached. The company reimbursed me money for the faulty led light after I wrote a formal letter of demand stating that Consumers are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund if a product or service they buy doesn’t meet one of the basic rights, known as consumer guarantees.
