Entry Level Wired Gaming Headset – I paid $99 for these from Bing Lee, this was a competitive price at the time (25/01/22). Bought these to replace my Logitech G230 stereo wired headset. The Logitech G335 does not have a noise-cancelling microphone nor does it have stereo sound. The microphone is adjustable and foldable. This headset does not have lay-flat earpieces and I miss this when compared to my old G230 headset.
The headset is plug and play. They can be used for an Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo Switch, PCs/laptop and mobile devices and include a 3.5mm audio jack.
There is a conveniently located volume control/rollers on the ear cup, this works well and is practical.
The Logitech G335 has 40mm neodymium drivers just as the G230 had which does deliver a good sound range when listening to music or playing games. Same goes for when you’re using these to communicate with someone online or using a mobile device.
This headset is lightweight and weighs 240 grams. The headset includes a comfortable elastic strap that fits well and can be washed, it’s also reversible with different colours.
The ear cups are super comfortable using a mesh material that is breathable and fits firmly over your ears, they do not get hot.
Logitech offer a 2-year limited warranty, whatever this is supposed to mean…
Overall Opinion: They represent reasonable value, they’re well made and should last for at least five+ years given my G230 headset lasted this long but got broken by accident. I consider that Logitech could have done better and included stereo with these but in this price category there’s not many that offer genuine stereo though you could consider Corsair, Alienware, Sennheiser or Razer. I feel a little disappointed that in 2015 I bought the Logitech G230 headset for $50 from Umart and now it’s 2022 and I just paid $99 for a product lacking the same and/or better features although the build quality is excellent.
