good cruising bike, easy to ride, excellent 1st learning bike – Had mine for few months now, getting just under 3 litres for the 100km running on 98ron, which is awsome for saving money exactly what I was after, I'm in no rush so not going too fast doesn't bother me, I weigh 98-100kg average and pick up is ok but nothing to brag about, gearing could be better and 6th would make it even more efficient, nice styling, well balanced, haven't ridden in rain yet! Great commuter ....what it's made for :-) very fuel efficient, good for cruising, well balanced, light also missing 6th gear, sometimes lacks responsiveness when not warm

Fantastic starter – I owned one of these for over a year and put 5000km on myself before selling, and I sometimes wish I hadn't sold! The fuel economy was unbelievable and a very steady and reassuring bike for a first timer on the road. It wasn't blessed with extreme acceleration but still managed to keep up well and served as a local runabout with no problems. Never an issue to start and never failed on me. At first I was put under interrogation as to why I 'wasted my time with a Chinese bike' but as the 'quality' Japanese 250's my friends owned slowly fell away and had issue after issue, me and the LX250-7 were the last two standing.

Anyone who feeds you the 'Chinese v Japanese quality' story is full of it, and needs to do some research before opening their mouths as I pointed out as Loncin is the OEM for BMW's motorcycles. Efficient, fun to ride, comfortable to learn on, sounded good with aftermarket exhaust, never failed once. A little slow to get going but kept up on the highways with no problem.

reliable budget ride – I bought my LX250-7 second hand with just over 1000km. It has proven to be an extremely reliable and fuel efficient little bike often returning over 300km a tank. A further 6000km and this little bike has paid for itself in fuel savings and has never missed a beat. On the negative side though is the braking system which is marginally effective in the dry and utterly useless in the wet.

Power is rather lacking but a sports muffler makes a big difference.

Still with a 100kg rider the bike still sits comfortably on 110km/hr but don't expect much more than 130km/hr top speed. great fuel economy, ultra reliable, comfortable for larger riders, cool street fighter styling, cheap purchase price brakes , lack of power, resale value
