I purchased a full kit only to be told it was discontinued 2 years after purchase. So when I needed a new trailer towing hitch a year+ after purchase it caused many issues. Firstly, I couldn’t have the van removed in the caravan park until I received the trailer hitch needed. This alone cost up $300.00, only then was I told it was only available from Sydney, the head office. Meanwhile, the service from Melbourne was extremely supportive the issue was with the head office suppliers, who did not supply all the materials required and under quoted costs by a considerable amount. When advised again as to what was required they turned around and stated they would only sell me a full kit (that was unnecessary) at an additional couple of thousand more to the original kit supplied. I am assuming it was because they knew I was stuck in a caravan park that politely required me to leave. It took 3 weeks to receive the trailer hitch needed, with unnecessary additional parts, after having been told it was urgent and was happy to pay the additional expenses for express post. So in reality for towing, site rental then the cost of the towing kit, overall it cost around $4,000.00. A normal caravan towing kit would cost far far less for a caravan as well as being easier to replace. It doesn’t take a genius to see the difference between the two photos and which would be the cheapest. I didn’t need the additional extras to carry the sway bars

Absolute garbage!!! We had the lovells 4200kg GVM / 7400kg GCM installed in our 79 series 3 months ago, after 2000km the leafs started to squeak and have only gotten worse, we have tried many different things but nothing helps, we were guarnteed by lovells that they would not squeak and that there would also be no sagging, which was also a lie as within 3 weeks of having it installed the Ute began to sag, then once we put our caravan on we sag dramatically worse. We reached out to lovells to try and get some answers but they could have not cared less. Now 3 months on we have just noticed that the leafs are shifting out of alignment, we have reached out to lovells yet again but have had no response yet. Do yourself a favour and steer clear of Lovells!

Springs do not match their own specs, they don't care and are not willing to adhere to Aus consumer law – Lowering springs were purchased for Datsun 240Z. Springs on the front did not lower the car to the specs that they had advertised, so the car looked uneven and high at the front compared to the back. Was checked multiple times by the professional mechanic that installed them. After I brought to their attention that their product did not do what they had advertised they were very, very hostile and kept making excuses or saying, "they are made to spec" which to be honest, means nothing. The item was not as advertised, as such I was entitled to a refund which they did not want to offer. This also meant i had a lot more costs to bear for the mechanic to remove their faulty parts and replace them with something else. I would suggest you avoid them, or at least do a lot of research first.
The company has tried to state that they do not make this product, and tried to hide this review. I have sent proof of purchase to Product Review, and also sent them the link to the manufacturers own website which states they make this product/brand.
Hi Gus, Thanks for reaching out to us about your issue with your springs for your 240Z.
Our website does not list individual Lovells parts to purchase; we don't manufacture any Lovells parts and only supply/fit full kits from Lovells. We do feel you may have the wrong company. Please send through your order # or proof of purchase to assist.
Thanks, Superior Engineering
Great product backed by exceptional customer service – While the product is not perfect, I think all products have room for error. It is fantastic when companies realise this and do what they can to rectify it. This is really appreciated as people don't waste their time complaining about things when there isn't a problem. We have used this hitch (as part of a towing upgrade) for almost 2 years continuously. We have had some small issues here and there with it. Every time there is an issue Lovells sorts it out as quick as they can, whether it be advice or posting what is required.
