Does a pretty good job without fuss – Pour in milk to marking or below, switch on, let it froth for 2-3 minutes, pour out, remove paddle, clean with scrubbing brush, Easy. A basic milk frother that does the job. If you want extra options like temperature or froth adjustments then you'll have to buy something more expensive. My unit failed after 3 months but was able to get… Read more

another one which has lasted over 2 years and is still going.

Only negatives are it just doesn't heat the milk enough for my liking and the interior rubberised base is not exactly non-stick. Inexpensive, easy to use. Temperature just not hot enough.

It appears from reading here, that they stop working, really not worth the bother in that case.

Watch out! – Our Aldi frother, less than 2 yrs had been working OK up until this week when I received 3 electric shocks in a row. We checked plug connections after the initial two shocks but it still happened. Needless to say that we have now thrown the frothier in the bin and I will be contacting Aldi about it. Muzza It was at a fair price. Not easy to clean & dangerous!

Aldi - poor quality – Like a lot of electrical products from ALDI this one also does not last or work properly. The spinner in the bottom of the machine which froths the milk came loose after a short while. Also, can't clean the "non stick" on the bottom of the frother - milk does catch on the bottom and leaves residue which is unhealthy. Was cheap Milk residue on… Read more

bottom of frother, wire mechanism came loose soon after purchase. Only does enough for one medium sized mug of you want it for hot chocolate.

Excellent product!! – I've had mine for a few months now, and I use it every single day! I did have overflow problems, but realised I was overfilling it, and also the lid wasn't tight enough. Once I worked that out, it was fantastic and still is. I have no problems with burnt milk. If the milk sticks to the bottom it is easy to wipe out. They are now available all… Read more

the time at Aldi. I also recommend the coffee maker. Fantastic!

Does the job – This makes really nice thick frothed milk and therefore wonderful coffees and hot chocolate. I have however found that using full milk it does not work too well, however with lite milk it is great. I have also found that the amount you make is quite a lot so not so good if you only want to make a drink for one person. must be cleaned thoroughly or it will not work properly Show reply

You get what you pay for – Bought this from Aldi and worked like a charm. Used it every weekend for a few months and suddenly stopped working. Milk also started to scald at the bottom, which was difficult to clean. Not recommended! Save your money and buy something that lasts. You get what you pay for! It worked for a while It died.

Mine blew up!! – They either stop working or they blow up like mine has. I had a feeling it was leaking before. But this time I was delayed in heating the milk and as it leaked it just blew up when I turned it on. Buy one if you want something cheaper, but just remember you cannot rely on it working when you actually do need it.. Think it is best to get a refund,… Read more

as they seem to be so urealiable. The price was great as is the style of this product. Too many just stop working, or they blow up as mine has. Watch out they leak!!

Pretty good – This is one of the Aldi weekly special items, and often have these for sale $25-$30. I purchased this item recently as my expensive branded one kept getting uncleanable burnt marks in the teflon over time (and was 5 times the price of this). For a cheap item, this seems well built with a teflon base. Even it does one day also get burnt marks on… Read more

the teflon, it is much cheaper to replace. Inexpensive, sturdy, froths and heats at the same time, quick and easy to use. Seems more powerful than the other more expensive ones I have tried. Plastic lid that comes with it doesn't prevent overflow (no seal as such, just a loose fitting plastic lid), Also, it only has a single spring loaded paddle for cappucino's, but I found the spring could be removed easily from the attachment for Lattes (less froth, but still heated). Has different size attachments than my previous frother and don't fit each other, though they look very similar.

Best value for money – Why spend >$100 on a branded Aerochino when a $19.95 Lumina Milk Frother can do the same thing. Excellent frothy hot milk and works fantastically alongside my Nespresso Essenza capsule coffee machine. Has automatic timer off which can leave a slight burnt mark at the bottom, making it difficult to clean. Workaround is to let it boil until steam… Read more ·  4

begins to come off or just before the timer cuts in to avoid a burnt stain. Inexpensive, Durable. Easy to clean. Can easily pay 5 times that for equivalent product. Not available all year round. Have to wait for the once a year special at Aldi.
