do a concrete edge and glue the turf to this. The other was only pinned and therefore allows weeds to grow in the join between the turf and curb or driveway etc. These weeds can then spread into the turf, especially as that turf had sand spread in it. It has been a constant battle with weeds as I did not want to resort to chemicals.
