Luxury Concrete Coatings Gold Coast & Brisbane. In early July of 2025 I called [Name Removed] from Luxury Concrete Coatings https://luxuryconcretecoatings.com.au which I have found out since he uses two names [Name Removed] and [Name Removed] to give me a quote to resurface an old cement pathway at the rear of my house with epoxy and to fit a grid to an existing drain.

I agreed to this quote $5500 from LCC and paid a 50% deposit to start the job and for him to purchase materials required to cover the path. I supplied the grid to cover the drain.

I cleared the path area so he had a straight run at the job. He started reasonably promptly. After a couple of days on the job he just disappeared with excuses of illness in his family so I let it slide as I was committed financially to the job and felt sad about his families situation.

He eventually returned to the job and finished it in August 2025 and I paid the balance in full. I must say that it did look a lot better than what it looked originally. However then it started to rain. Where he had fitted the grid to the drain he used to much product which blocked the flow of water and the path turned into a swimming pool. He had also not covered anything and there was over spray of the epoxy on walls air conditioning units and white pebbles in the garden area. Then the epoxy coating started to crack and lift.

On numerous occasions I called messaged and emailed both [Name Removed] directly and the company to get them to return to rectify the problems but after he made appointment times that he would be here he never showed up. He had excuse after excuse until he finally stopped answering my calls texts or emails. I managed to get hold of him by using a different mobile that he would not recognise and we booked in the 27th December for him to be here to rectify the situation said that he had two weeks off with no work no excuses would be here. Surprise he didn’t show again. I managed to get hold of him again and arranged another day the 30th December and he was a no show.

This had now been six months since the original quote so I had given him and the company numerous opportunities to rectify their work. This has been an absolute nightmare. I would not recommend this person or his company. If you do find yourself using them do not pay until the job is done to your satisfaction. I paid them the day the job was complete as he was claiming poor and needed to pay the registration on his vehicle. I wouldn’t normally be this gullible but my wife of nearly 41 years passed in late January 2025 so my brain was a little confused. DO NOT USE THIS BLOKE OR THIS COMPANY. NOT RECOMMENDED.
