Macarthur Antennas

I called Macarthur Antennas a few days ago and spoke to Jamie Diaz. I told him what our problems were and said our TV antenna is a Matchmaster and was fitted back in 2013. He came out today (6/11/25) and has just completed an test and upgrade to our TV reception at Minto. In the past 5 years we have had some 2 story homes built across the road, which is blocking out TV reception caused to much static interference on normal channels, 7, 9, 10 & 12.

Jamie came out got on the roof with his meters, tested the signals at out antenna and TV and found them wanting.. He hooked up a Hills UHF Antenna and tested for best signal and roof location. Then he did the same with a VHF Antenna and found that was the solution. So he installed a new antenna mount in the best roof location and hooked up a new Hills Black Arrow VHF Antenna. Then tested both TV outlets in the house and showed me the meter results.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND – I made contact with Jamie from this company in November 2022 in relation to solving reception issues with free to air TV channels. From the initial contact he was very professional in his approach, explaining posssible costs involved and use of different antennas etc. Shopping around as we all do I opted to use another company which seemed cheaper but as it turned out after spending $700 the reception was actually worse. I contacted Jamie again in January 2023 after putting up with the poor reception and Jamie honoured his original quote. A Hills antenna was installed (the other cheap chinese antenna installed by the other company will be taken down and put where it belongs - in the bin) and we now have perfect reception throughout the house. Jamie rang back after the install to check that we were happy, very unexpected. THANK YOU JAMIE FOR A JOB WELL DONE.
