I booked a table at Macarthur Tavern for myself and a group of friends online on a recent Saturday. I got a green tick to say my message had been submitted. As I received no confirmation text or Email, I called the hotel to confirm the booking. I was advised there was no booking in the system. I manually booked over the phone. I then tried to send an Email to Macarthur Tavern management advising what had happened but got the error message 'message undeliverable'. I ended up personally delivering a complaint letter and was told somebody would contact me. Two weeks later, nobody has. Nice food and atmosphere but forget about using the online booking system or sending them an Email - neither works, and don't expect a response to any complaints. You are best off booking over the phone, or simply give your business to another hotel
