Cannot recommend these guys high enough! Came out and gave a fixed priced quote, moved everything with no issues or damage and all with a smile on their faces. Nothing was too much for these guys! Arrived on time on the day of the move and made everything run like clockwork. Really friendly guys who enjoy their jobs and know what they are doing.
Great furniture removalists – Maccas turned up to move my dad's house on time and did so with care, speed and accuracy. Would recommend to anyone.

Not recommended – I engaged [Name Removed] for 2 days in February 2024 to pre-pack one day and move on the second. I paid cash. On the first day, his staff worked only until 1pm which raised concerns about completing the job. The result was substantial damage to furniture - chunks taken out of the solid oak bedroom suites and tables, damaged walls and broken precious family heirlooms. For example they dropped and smashed a valuable Waterford crystal glass that was part of a set and had passed through multi generations, inherited from a recently departed family member. I spoke with the company, noting my distress about the glass, only for them to minimise the heirloom by calling it 'just a shot glass'. This can't be sourced locally and would cost over A$200 to replace.
Upon unpacking, I found many items forced into boxes (where it was difficult to remove them without concern about further breakages) and other breakable items unwrapped and just placed in the box. Furthermore, I also found indoor household items (ie: electricals) placed in an outdoor shed regardless of the instructions given. They were far too heavy for me to move, resulting in having to unpack in the shed to move items in stages.
Overall, I found this experience highly unsatisfactory. The wooden furniture in particular, has been irrevocably damaged and won't be able to be fixed without noticing the obvious damage.
Even though this company does a lot of work in the area, I'd steer clear if you remotely value any of your items.

whopping potted plants and Mark, Cam and Tim from Macca's Moves just cracked on and got the job done. It was 4 truckloads over 2 days, but the guys were on-time, didn't let up and just ploughed through the job. Friendly, no-fuss, but careful and very keen to ensure things were just right - would you like us to move the couch here, or here, or here? I don't like moving and don't plan on it again any time soon, but if I did I'd happily use these guys again.
Punctual, professional, considerate - highly recommended – Couldn't fault the service. They never complained even though the driveway is very steep and the move included a piano! They arrived on time, both for the initial quote and the move, were very respectful of my home and of me.
Stress free, careful removalist and reasonably priced – Maccas have moved us twice in 2 years and a couple of friends too. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others On time every time. Competitive price. Careful, well organised, with the proper boxes for suits, paintings mirrors TVs computers etc. Also reasonable storage rates if you need. Thanks Macca's
