Good comfortable pack, not built like the old macpacs – Comfortable pack to wear. Rain protection is good for the little person being carried. Be careful when putting the pack down. My one was torn on the stretchy elastic part that basically sits on the ground when you put the pack down after only 2 uses to a total of 10km. that can be placed on any ground conditions. As I have found out a rip in this material is not covered under warranty so be weary when placing the pack down and not to brush past any bushes/ trees. I wish they could go back to making a slightly heavier pack out of the rugged canvas. Old school Macpac lover.

well as the above which was written some time ago, I can easily add that we are now up to our third child and still believe this was our best purchase. Our now 6yr old (20kg) daughter can still be carried around however she is now relegated to using her own two feet same as the 4yr old. There has been some staining on the upper area but is is due to our poor attempt at cleaning rather than the pack itself. I truly cannot recommend this pack enough. Comfortable for both the carrier and the carried. Our little one fell asleep easily. The rain cover works like a dream, as does the suncover (easier than forcing them to wear a hat!!!) Good storage and the adjustability of the straps through the spine for differently proportioned adults is well worth the extra money. Although the adjustable spine is great the accessibility to make the change is a little difficult if you have larger hands.

Excellent – We used this Macpac while travelling overseas with a 16 month old. It was a dream to use. Every time we put our child into this carrier, they fell asleep!
