NEVER AGAIN!! RIPPED OFF!! SORE!! BROKEN!! – We purchased the Madison plaza a couple of years ago. After 12 months we were waking up sore and broken. We complained and the matress was taken away and it was confirmed it was a fault in the matress. The manufacturer, is snooze! But no one will admit it. After telling the sales dude we had a medium. Which was not right for us, we were talked… Read more

into buying another medium. The rep from the "manufacturer" convinced us to re-spec the matress at our expense of a further $800. 6 months later we are now worse of than before. No sleeping quality. Our matress sagged and they won't accept liability. It has been brought to our attention, by a former employee of snooze, that the profiler machine that they make you sleep on in store to measure your sleeping pattern only measures comfort and NOT support. I welcome anyone to prove me wrong. Phone calls don't get returned. No after sales support. After seeking legal advise, only then did snooze reply saying that our problem was a comfort issue. I can't believe how many reviews are all saying almost the same thing. OMG I thought we were the only ones. I feel your pain people! We went to Forty Winks bought a firmer King coil matress and we couldn't be happier. We wake up refreshed and pain free it does take approx 3 months for your body to get used to your new matress but well worth the wait. What a disgrace snooze. How about you start reading the reviews and stop ripping people off return the damn phone calls. We strongly DO NOT recommend buying anything from snooze as they manufacture their own mattresses. Save your heartache and do your research. Read the reviews.

A very disappointing product – We bought the Madison Plaza in King Size for $3,300 (advertised for $4,999) and a new timber bed set from Snooze at Nundawading Victoria. Initially, it was wonderful. After a relatively short period of time the memory foam had sunk on both sides and ultimately became extremely uncomfortable causing back issues for us both. We advised Snooze and… Read more

the mattress was then assessed to be eligible for a warranty repair. A 3rd party replaced the memory foam layer on behalf of the manufacturer but within a few short months the same problem returned. When acknowledging the initial justification to repair the defect, why would the manufacturer not remediate the issue properly? Anyway, we’re over it. We have no patience for poor product experiences. We have since bought a replacement mattress from Sleeping Duck and (honestly) cannot be happier. If Snooze (or any other in-store retail outlet) is to remain relevant they must consider offering quality / durable products for the price paid and they must stand behind the after sale support, own the poor customer experience, not hand it off to a 3rd party who is not invested in the transaction. We are extremely disappointed with the whole experience and will never do it again. I can be contacted about discussing a refund but I suspect this is unlikely.

Buyer beware – We bought the plush version of the madison plaza. Within months the foam had sunk on both sides and was extremely uncomfortable. The foam was replaced by the manufacturer but within a few short weeks the same problem started again, two crater holes and a huge lump in the middle. The manufacturer will not replace the foam unless the indent is… Read more

greater than 30mm but inevitably it will sink due to several foam layers above the springs. In the end we got a refund as it was not fit for purpose. Extremely disappointing especially at the very high price point.

Don't buy – Bought from Snooze, not 4 years old and sags and has been sagging for at least a year now and can't handle it any longer. POS. Don't waste your money. Show details

I hate Madison Plaza, hurts my back, sick of warranty repairs – Bought 2014. Lovely for a few months. Then noticed ‘natural compressions’ - sent it back for warranty after 8 months, then 2 yrs later again. Still sags. Very sore back. Very disappointed with our $3700 purchase. Feels unsupported, like sleeping in a hammock. Reading reviews and wondering if there is such a thing as a modern mattress that does not… Read more

sag in time. No point putting up reviews on mattresses that people have slept in for a few weeks or months. You have to sift through the reviews of people who’ve had them for over 2 years to get an accurate review. No such thing as a ten year warranty. I’m sick of repairs and I’d like a refund, so I can purchase something cheaper and throw it away when it sags. I’m thinking there’s no such thing as a modern mattress that does not sag. Sore back and desperate for a comfortable firm mattress that stands up to its warranty.

Lasted only 2 years – Good for only 2 years. Now the mattress sags badly, with deep body impressions visible and neither myself or my partner are heavy people. We complained and the company replaced the foam, but 6 weeks later it was a bad as it was before. Can only conclude that poor quality materials are used. Very disappointed given the price we paid at Snooze.  Show details

A bit too soft, as side sleeper I find my hip sinks – It is a very luxurious mattress and I was impressed when I tested it in store. I am finding it is too soft and because I mainly sleep on the side my hips sink.  Show details

There is no quality control so you never know what you will receive after spending hours test – Overall, the mattress I received is much more soft compared to the one I tested in the store; One end of the mattress is more soft to the other end. I have waited one month to get the so called technician to come and inspect the mattress. He didn't bother to inspect the mattress at all but did a careful look of our bed. So the conclusion is not surprising at all: we need a supportive frame! I'm taking the case to VCAT.  Show details

Only lasted 5 years – We bought this mattress five years ago. It was a nice comfortable mattress until a few months ago. Then the trouble started and now both my wife and I are regularly suffering from back pain after a night’s sleep. So then ten year warranty is probably not worth the paper it is printed on... buyer beware  Show details

Sinks and no good for more than 1 person – Somewhat comfortable sleeping alone, however once two people are on it turns into a hammock and is most uncomfortable . I’ve complained and since been told it needs to be on a solid base which I was never told initially. Will probably just get a new mattress and ensemble and forgot about the plaza  Show details

On cloud nine – The Madison Plaza is from the plush range. 40cm in depth. I find my hips sinks into the mattress but not enough to cause any sort of back pain. Not sure yet if its retains heat as I live in a warm climate. It's nice soft and comfortable. I don't wake up as much through the night which is a plus.
