Best Kitchen Helper Ever!! – Excellent food processor which takes the hard work and grind from cooking. The mixing, slicing, shredding and grinding are one of the best that I've used. It is powerful and sturdy. The separate attachments makes cleaning simpler. Definitely recommend this!

For $800 this is an extremely disappointing product, and of course Magimix do not offer refunds. I wish I'd known this earlier as it's a pretty suspicious policy that they seem to enforce ruthlessly. Strongly suggest people looking elsewhere! I realised after purchasing that there are many of these available on marketplace, Gumtree etc at a fraction of the price (which is pretty telling!!), so if your heart is set on this product, I would personally be looking there so at least you're not dropping a fortune on something I think is pretty rubbish. Such a shame because I researched this heavily - by no means an impulse buy! But really did not expect it to be this bad.

garlic and ginger. I even tried making a cake though I used the dough blade which was too short to cream the butter and sugar, I did manage to whip them when I added the egg yolks. Overall my cake turned out well. I used it to make cookies and same issue here but once I added all the ingredients I got perfectly good cookies. It’s silly that we have to clean all three jars and the different parts of the lids even for small quantity food prep but I guess each part is designed to help with a particular feature and seems useless when that feature is not being used. Overall I am very happy with my purchase, I need it for every dish I make but I still have to use all the features including the dicing kit.

Good machine but has its faults – As you would expect this machine is powerful and well made. After 12 months we are still happy with it but some annoyances are becoming clear. Firstly the use of multi bowl system even when using the small bowl means you will need to clean all the bowls and lid after use. If you don’t use a liberal amount of soap the plastic looks and stays cloudy, so wash it thoroughly, let it dry before reassembly as moisture trapped inside makes it cloudy again. The worse part is the poorly designed handle of the main bowl. It contains holes that traps in liquids and foods and then the inside of the handles gets mouldy! Unfortunately Magimix don’t have a fix for it. I squirt in dishwashing liquid and try to blast the dirt out with our garden hose. If you are in the same situation, push Magimix to supply a new bowl for free as it’s a known design fault. Love the machine but hate the washing up even after a small job, and the silly French design idiosyncrasies.

Happy with the product. Purchase process left a lot to be desired. Discount offered as a new Magimix purchaser was effectively impossible to use and there was little acknowledgment of the problem. parcel on the other side of the country that anything was done to rectify the problem. When the parcel did arrive, the outer box was damaged+++, but fortunately the contents were ok. I was offered a recipe book as gift, but the book that arrived was for an accessory I hadn’t purchased, so not much use to me.

dust of flour comes out from there. Dry ingredients also go into the cavity within insert pusher itself, making it hard to clean.

For multiple bowls, when I want to use only the small one, I still have to clean the entire bowls.

If I am replacing this my food processor, I will look for other products.

Basic kit needs a change – This is a good processor BUT it comes with 2mm and 4mm slicing and grating discs. To make it work for me I had to buy elsewhere the 6mm version of each. much better texture. If they were to repackage with the 4mm and 6mm as standard the whole bundle will work so much better. It is great for making pastry so preparing everything for a cheese and onion pie is quick and easy for example. The 6mm slicing disc is great for red cabbage as it keeps the cabbage as a proper slice the 4mm makes it a bit slimy. It is very heavy so is best kept out on the worktop as getting out of a cupboard could be tricky. Not the easiest thing to wash and dry but I would not risk the plastic bowls in the dishwasher.

I purchased my new Magimix to replace a different branded food processor. I am much happier with my new Magimix for two main reasons. Firstly, The 3 bowls make food preparation quicker and more continuous. Secondly, I find processed food doesn’t get caught in any hidden crevices, thus avoiding wasted food. that is easy to follow and I really couldn’t be without. I love the texture of my coleslaw the Magimix produces and I would now consider buying other Magimix appliances.

Nut butters the best – We purchased this blender specifically to make nut butters and blend tricky foods like dates. It works so well it can make a smooth peanut butter in like 5mins, home made Nutella, and smooth dates into caramel. The grater attachment makes easy work and can batch up food. I have also used it to make meat balls blending the herbs so nicely then adding the meat for a few seconds. I have been really pleased with the machine and use it regularly. Show details
