No issues with the Perth Mahindra sales team. Unfortunately, the post-sale experience with the Perth Mahindra service centre has had been terrible. Bought an XUV700 Black Edition and within months notice the auto wipers and wiper stalk not functioning. Also have trim peeling off the steering wheel. Have been chasing them for nearly a year with no… Read more

resolution. No response to your call, no follow-up. In simple, you are ignored post purchase. Excellent car, but frustrating experience..

I’m sharing my experience with a Mahindra 3XO 7AXL, purchased from Singleton Mahindra NSW. From the day of delivery (10/03/2026), the car has had multiple serious defects, including AEBS failure, cruise control and speed sign recognition issues, seatbelt faults, and rear wiper problems. On 15/04/2026, the 1,500 kms check-up and repairs were… Read more

carried out. The initial issues were identified; however, despite attempted repairs, critical safety systems remained non-functional, and no defects were properly diagnosed. On 20/04/2026, within five days of the service, the vehicle developed a significant rattling noise along with multiple warning lights. I was then informed over the phone that there was a major piston-related engine issue and that the car may require replacement or a refund. The vehicle has been with the dealer for over 15 days. However, on 06/05/2026, they attempted to return the car stating it was only a minor issue and had been fixed. I have formally rejected the vehicle and requested a full refund, which was refused by Mahindra. I have now lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading and am awaiting their response, will proceed NCAT.

Please be cautious before buying any "MAHINDRA VEHICLE" and raise w concerns early with NSW fair trading and NCAT if required without delay.

I have worst experience with Mahindra XUV3XO this car isn't running well in Australia, with numerous issues. It feels like the doors are open and air is coming in while driving, dealership service is terrible, parts aren't readily available, and it doesn't have an NCAP rating. There's no point in buying this car; I'm against buying it and urge… Read more

everyone to think carefully before buying. I am completely stuck with this now. If you are considering using it for your business, please forget it, as Uber does not accept this vehicle at all And I'm getting alert warning signs quite often.

⭐️ 1/5 — If I could give -5 stars, I would Buying a Mahindra Car has been one of my worst decisions. I’m honestly regretting it. The customer service is extremely poor — no matter what issue you raise, even Head Office offers no real help. They just keep sending emails back and forth for their records, without actually resolving anything. … Read more

Mahindra India really needs to understand the standards required when operating overseas and properly train their staff. The level of service here is far below what any customer should expect.

I would strongly advise others to think twice before choosing this brand.

Safety issue – XUV700 wiper failure in heavy rain My brand-new XUV700’s front wiper failed in the middle of heavy rain, putting my family and me in serious danger. The vehicle is barely a month old and was serviced just last week. While driving to a family event in the evening, the wiper suddenly stopped working, forcing me to halt the car in… Read more

the middle of heavy traffic with almost zero visibility – a situation that could have easily resulted in a serious accident.

Restarting the car restored the wiper briefly, but it failed repeatedly throughout the journey and has now stopped functioning completely.

This is a critical safety hazard, and I am extremely concerned about the reliability of the vehicle’s safety systems.

The service team has given a 2+ weeks window to fix the issues.

Worth a look but not ANCAP ready! – I am someone who likes to see an ANCAP rating. Very simply the reports say "the Global Rating rating does not translate to the ANCAP rating which is more stringent". 3 Lakh of the XUV 700 model (? Now on runout) have made so there is mo excuse. The rating for the 3rd row of seats is not covered by sufficient airbags. Car reviews in Australia… Read more

have praised it as a low cost 6 or 7 seater vehicle. But for children's sake it should be reviewed by "the car experts' as 5 seater vehicle.

Check the fuel consumption which appears high. Also check for possible conversion of the petrol vehicles to LPG. ( Watch out in the hybrid and electric vehicle space).

So a brief anecdote. After several Mahindra experiences in India I have found their vehicles to be "!ight in the frame, flimsy with body panels and poor with interior details and quality". I could get in trouble for honesty. But Product Reviews are about honesty.

A good maintenance history will be essential. Watch out for Qld driven vehicles without maintenance.

I have just completed several days . travel in India with a driver. The 3rd row row bench seats were terrible 'troop carrier style". The front passenger seat was deep and comfortable.

The last trip was 150km on narrow very windy mountain roads. The driver drove expertly. A mid sized diesel manual 4WD. Regularly serviced, responsive handling vehicle.

Delivering 55k on Apollo tyres. 2018 build and 195000 km on the dial. Brakes and suspension were good. We didn't hit a cow, dog, motor cyclist truck, bus or pedestrian.

To the end point. Within the first 2 two years the driver was hit on the RHS by another vehicle and forced into an ox. on the LHS. The driver was not hurt. The whole front was rebuilt and parts were difficult to acquire. 2 months work. So Mahindra are worth a look! Photos TUV 300 plus (2018 build)

Worst after sales and warranty service anywhere. Hostile and awful – Bought this tractor and wish we hadn't. Hindsight, searching the web, Mahindra tractors have so many complaints and problems, we should have done more research. We had a warranty issue that Mahindra will not honour, blaming us for poor care of the tractor. It has had every service, and been lovingly looked after by my husband who has a disability… Read more

which doesn't allow him a lot of physical work, so this tractor has been his baby and loved and greased and had everything done we knew how to do. The retailer told us absolutely nothing even though, as inexperienced tractor owners, we begged for any sort of instructions or training - even delivery was the tractor and disconnected slasher dumped on the road (they didn't even come onto our little property in spite of easy access) and drove away. We didn't even know how to connect the slasher to move it from the road! The man that came out for the after delivery 'checkup' told us that he didn't know tractors at all - he "does lawnmowers" and husband, who had only had what knowledge a friendly neighbour gave him, had to even show the man how to move the bucket up and down! Every time we interacted with the dealer, we asked if it was being looked after correctly and what else needed doing, just in case. No information was offered other than the manual, which said things like "Check engine bolts" - where are they , what are they and how to access - nothing. The tractor had a bucket - the manual didn't even mention a bucket or if anything was needed doing with it, so we just greased everything we could and tightened everything we could see. Warranty issue involved some loose bolts - which after 280hours and all services, seem to have fallen out. We didn't even know the bolts should have been there. Imagine driving a car and having bits fall out of the engine after 250 hours? Would they blame you for that? Several very experienced diesel mechanics have now assessed this and all agree it should have been a warranty claim, and should not have happened in the first place. Badly put together with cheap parts. If thinking of buying one, do your research, because once you have seen all the complaints and issues, if you have any sense you would avoid. Even a cheap Chinese one would have been better. Funny enough, you can't even do a Google review on Mahindra tractors in Australia - there is virtually nowhere available to warn other people, except here. But check out the U.S. - its just as bad there but people have more places where they can warn others.

Tractor just ok but support non existent – I bought a Mahindra 3316 tractor and a number of attachments 5 years ago. The tractor has performed ok but the after sales support is non existent. The dealer I purchased it from went into administration 6 months after purchase and Mahindra provide very little help for small issues. In recent times I have needed support for parts for the tractor… Read more

implements and Mahindra Ag Australia were useless. They were unwilling to assist. Would not recommend Mahindra in Australia because there is no support.
