We purchased a queen size bed from the Newcastle store over 8 years ago , the bed was and still is the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on . We now needed to change to a king size bed and we went back to the Newcastle store, saw the same amazing ladies and asked for exactly what we bought before in king size. After just over 4 years since our original purchase of a Makin Mattress, we decided to take advantage of their offer to refurbish the original mattress (within the first 5 years) to suit our changing comfort needs as we are getting older. store once more and decide on the comfort level that suited us best for our current and ongoing needs. We felt that the Bellissimo Duet Plush was the best for us going forward. The Makin Mattress staff arranged the whole thing and within just over a week our new mattress was delivered by two very helpful guys. For production and delivery reasons, Makin decided not to refurbish our original mattress but to replace it with a new mattress and supply the plush topper as well. We are very happy with their courtesy, professionalism and commitment to our comfort needs. In addition we are really enjoying the greater comfort level of our new Bellissimo Duet Plush. I would recommend Makin Mattresses to anyone. Well done Makin Mattresses.

Do NOT Buy! – Very unhappy customer! Bought the Bellissimo Duet Plush mattress. Paid top dollar ($3195). Trialed the mattress for 2 months. Unfortunately it was way too soft causing severe back and hip pain. Requested a refund but told no refunds. Instead offered to exchange it for a cheaper bed. refused. Then told me I had to pay 85 dollars to return it to store and another 85 dollars to deliver the new (cheaper) mattress to my home.

Spoke to store manager Sara and Salesman Shane at the Makin Mattress - Brisbane South Store. Found them both very unprofessional, unhelpful and incompetent.

Not worth your time or money. Highly recommend doing your research and buy elsewhere.

The perfect mattress! – We wanted a mattress with comfort and support. The Bellisimo Duet Plush provides this in a 2 piece double sided mattress. We can turn the plush top and the mattress separately. The plush top can also be replaced later on if needed. Perfect for us! Show reply
