Mate, I'd start by cleaning the oil outlet. It tends to get really dirty in there.

I dismantled the whole unit in the end . All the cover screws ,trigger ,large drive gear ,cleaned oil tank /feed line /oil pump plastic feed housing / put all back together / used 5w 30 synthetic oil all fixed works well .The chain bar lube recommend can thicken up some times / best to flush as per manual.

If yours is not lubricating, here's a fix: take the bar and chain off and slightly loosen the oil reservoir cap. Then run the machine like that until you see oil pumping from the reservoir nipple. The without cleaning off the emergent oil, reattach the bar and chain and run it over a surface until you can see oil spraying on the surface.

all done and fixed dismantled the entire unit cleaned it won't use the recommended oil ever again too sticky now use 5w synthetic oil dash of white spirits

small dash only at end of use for a small flush wont hurt
