Cafe was very busy on Labour Day holiday, I ordered from the menu and one of the items ordered was not to include mustard. The Woman who took the order initially took the order then after speaking to another person She came back and was very aggressive and rude and advised me that the orders were premade up and that they could not "Deconstruct" the order and remove the mustard, She then launched into a tirade about them being so busy and that they are there for the community and they had no time to "deconstruct" premade meals. I questioned her on her rudeness and aggressiveness and She continued to rant. Their food is on the expensive side, add any extras and they are on the expensive side. They have most of their products premade so "How Fresh" and they dictate to you as the customer what you will and won't get. Be aware when going to this place that they do you no favours, food is expensive, Add extras are expensive, they add 16% loading on weekends and Public Holidays plus they add a loading when you pay by card. So definitely not there for the Community. Be aware.

Wrong meal given no apology – Today I had luch at Maleny food company with two friends. We weren't given the correct order . One of the meals was a salad that had not been ordered. The cafe person on the register was very rude and insisted that the order was for a different salad. My guess is they got it wrong or ran out of the ingredients. Not good form to blame the customer for your mistake. the food was fresh enough but left a very bad taste when the establisment practically calls you a liar.
