Three emails ignored. I had just posted a very positive review for them. I have spent thousands of dollars on multiple items from them. gave them most of my music business. However I had bought a fender squire stratocaster from them two and a half years ago but hardly used it and it was just bought while an old on was being fixed. So I discovered the bridge anchor hole was huge on one side and the wood cracked. so the bridge could not stay down. I wrote to then and to fender . Mannys ignored three emails. fender told me bad luck. So I will never buy anything from either of them again. I had very positive results from smaller companies when their products were faulty. Mannys failed totally on after sales service and I can not believe their rudeness in not even replying to three emails.

Follow-up  · They ignored me for months. eventualy said the staff were busy with sales or attempted sales, not bothered with after sales service. they eventualy said bring it in and they would look at it. To late I just decided to never deal with them or fender again. When I am told bad luck , no help and ignored multiple times for months. That is enough.

Follow-up  · crap. In the end, I jammed a bit of wooden peg in the broken of area and installed the old-style bridge with 8 screws holding it on instead of 2 pegs. The old design is better. My mint unused cheap Chinese Fender is now worth a pittance unless I replace the body. Just don't buy Fender.

Watch out for beanie guy – I’ve dealt with Mannys many times, they are sometimes good and other times bad. They are generally overpriced compared to other local music stores. I don’t like how you can’t just pick up a guitar and have a strum straight off the shelf, they have signs not to touch unless you ask, Riffs and Licks let’s you strum what you like, so does Vivace music in Logan. On my last visit there a staff member with a beanie approached me and I said I wanted to look at a certain guitar, he got it off the shelf for me and then went on a rant about the pens in my top left pocket. How I was about to scratch the guitar (the pocket isn’t located anywhere near where the guitar was leaning on me) I took a few strums as he glared at me, it was so off putting for me I gave it straight back and said ok mate, I’ll leave it there. He looked visible annoyed at me, it was very strange. Alex who works there is good however. He seems more switched on and eager to help than most of them. They all generally stand behind the counter and chat with each other. The online department has been great every time I’ve dealt with them. Stock range is good in store. I only recently got back into music and had $30k to drop on all kinds of stuff I liked but sadly for Mannys, beanie guy blew it for them.
