Masport 400AL Lawn Mower

Mechanic – I would never ever but an ironforce mower the people i got it off traded it in on a suzukui 2 stroke mower i had the owned there mower for six months then traded it i tryed to start it very hard and though it in the scrap bin were it belongs they are nothing like the suzukui motor Pease of [censored word removed]

Terrible – complete load of rubbish. chinese copy of suzuki do not buy these mowers. they smoke like anything takes 20-25 pulls when cold and 5-10 pulls when hot. smokes like like a chimney even when motor is hot. it is a crappy mower and i hate it. The catcher is always falling off and the mulch plug is hard to pull out after you have finished mowing. It is a waste of time dont buy these mowers they suck! They are also very loud and will always stall Nothing really everything. it smokes no matter what even when the motor is hot. it smokes so bad its not funny. hard to start even when motor hot

Good – When deciding on a or stroke mower consider this. If you have a 2 stroke whipper snipper then you can use the same fuel. Servicing costs on a 2 stroke are less ie no oil changes and the design of the engine has less parts to wear out. They are better for heavy duty long grass as they fire evry 2 strokes not 4 so therefore are actually less likey to stall. Well for those in the Know the engine is one of the best available 2 stroke on the market. Ask any contractor who used a suszuki 2 stroke engine which is what this is. They work harder than a four stroke and are extremely reliable. As for smoke Liamp they do not if the correct fuel ratio is used and is tuned properly. As for stalling in heavy grass.."no way" this engine will out perform a 5 hp Honda briggs etc because it has the same if not more torque than four stroke. How do I know..I am a mowing contractor and have replaced my 5hp briggs for one of these engines and it craps all over the briigs 4 stroke I havent personally used this mower however Masport mowers I ahve used in the past and would highly recommend them

Excellent – Purchased one for my husband for xmas, he's used it twice and i've used it 3 times. If you want your wife to help in th yard this is definantly the mower to but, easily operated, affordable, easy to clean, quite a nice looking mower compared to others i looked at before purchasing this one. easy to operate, cuts through long and short grass easily, no vibration through handle like our older mower, we bought the cut and mulch which has boosted our lawn up dramatically, they don't use too much petrol, good price, lightweight yet very strong and durable, easy and quick to clean, comfortable to use, haven't found anything i don't like about it yet
