Terrible quality and even worse service – We purchased a demo caravan (Viper 16D) last month and advise steering clear of this unprofessional, poorly managed company. Communication has been terrible from the minute they had our deposit and when you do get an answer it is a false promise. 1. wash it. A week later, a cancelled first trip away and numerous emails and phone calls chasing them it was ready to pick up (unwashed). 2. Annex was missing. Another 2 weeks, another cancelled trip away (needed the annex for one of the kids to sleep in which they knew) and again very hard to contact and a different excuse each time, we picked the annex up (model on the bag is DL so not ours and really hoping all the pieces are there). 3. Noticed two days ago the large rear window piece the silicone seal has disintegrated so it flaps in the wind and would have ripped off when driving. Hubby has fixed at our expense. 4. The roof leaks, hubby has hopefully fixed, also at our expense. 5. The mattress was soaking wet due to the roof leak. We have spent several days communicating with Maverick as we are going away tomorrow and can’t sleep on a wet mattress and Ethan told us we could have another demo (unused but slightly dusty) mattress but had to pick it up ourselves. Spent 2.5 hours driving to do that today and when unloading at home we noticed the mattress has a hole, is covered in mould spots and pubic hairs. Yuck and the outrageous response from Maverick was an offer to air out our original one as the warranty doesn’t cover cosmetic issues. But they had already offered to replace so rather confusing to now say it’s not under warranty. The mattress is wet because the roof leaks which is not cosmetic. 6. Still waiting on the spare set of keys that Ethan said was with the mattress to pick up today. You guessed it… no keys.

Maverick 16DL Viper 16DL – Handover of our Viper 16DL 17th Aug 23 with all new upgrades. So far everything seems to be as it should, excellent finishes, tough build and no faults found as yet. Bailey has been excellent, replying to questions I may have after hours. Going free camping this weekend, so that will be the test. Any major learnings I will provide feedback. Show details

Terrible customer service – We went to the caravan and camping show today, we were genuinely interested in the Viper. We spoke to Baileys partner, we asked a question in regards to any possible interior colour changes. We were told to our faces “We hate customers who want to change colours inside” “We don’t like difficult customers” .. Absolute deal breaker. Disgusting attitude all round. Ended up buying a beautiful camper from a different company.

Viper 16c – Ordered the Viper 16c and expecting it in October sometime with all the new updates, all i can say is customer service has been great. Very helpful even when we have made changes to our order, they have got back to us sometimes within the hour and there has been no problems. Looking forward to our new adventures in our Viper

the ones having to call or email with limited help after 3 months of limited contact we lost all confidence in this company and told them to cancel our order by email still no help then out of the blue a phone call to say your van is ready to pick up we told them to check there emails and were told they could never get hold of us because they didn't have my phone number which they had from first contact.Have since asked consumer protection to help to be told by Matt nope were keeping your deposit look at the small print so have basically stolen $4500 from me. Camper is great, poor service – Service was great until deposit paid and then service terrible, nobody returns calls or emails. Issues with the CD/DVD Player, the strip lights staying in place and the water hoses rubbed through under the bed due to not mounted probably. buy another tv with DVD in it. Had to fix all our selves, due to poor service. Haven't even been off road as yet. The attitude of staff was it was only a dvd player, however, when you spend a significant amount of money you except it all to be working. We also requested the general manger to contact us, but still waiting for the call.

Take your money and don’t call you back – My dealings with Maverick campers has been less then ideal. Difficulties started after I made full payment, as my camper was meant to be ready two weeks later. Maverick never contacted me after I paid. I have always been the one to make first contact and continuously enquire for updated information. I had to make daily phone enquiries for… Read more

weeks, as I was continuously given dates for when it would be ready and shipped as well as multiple email enquiries. Each time, I was given different information by multiple staff. It had been hard to have anyone consistent to deal with at the time. I even sent a written complaint, recommended by which was ignored.

I received the product 10 weeks after I was first promised; off a truck in a busy truck stop, damaged, unregistered and unable to drive, with 1 hour warning to pick it up. My off-road camper was not ready for off-road use, let alone on-road. Going through the camper many screws and bolts needed tightening and a few areas damaged, one being relatively significant. We needed to check everything was actually bolted down. I am still currently going through the company for repair of the damage items and my missing items. There does not appear to be much quality control (if any) of products before they are sent out. But again, if I am not constantly making contact and hassling Maverick, I do not believe they would action my repairs. I do hope the repair process isn’t as painful as what it was to get the camper to my driveway.

I hope I am able to make a positive review in the future based on using the camper

Maverick Viper 16 x-Club 2022 – Awesome van- tows beautifully, so much storage, we opted for a larger awning to cover the fridge - love it- the king bed is amazing to sleep on. Darcy at Caboolture is excellent to deal with - with so many components there is bound to be something not ticking right but just teething problems and all fixable. club lounge for my child. Overall we are SUPER happy with out van. Going to suggest car decals to match the van as an option.

for 4 weeks with minor issues which Bailee resolved at the Wingfield, SA factory. The Ranger is now headed north for 5 months around NT and WA. The ability to remain off grid with sufficient water and solar power for seven days and tackle rough roads is why we selected the Maverick Ranger Limited.

DO NOT BUY FROM MAVERICK CAMPERS – Absolutely terrible customer service. Warranty claims dont mean a thing when dealing with them even if seen by 2 repairers, (1 who they chose) said to be manufacture faults.
