Why won’t my Maxkon sealer not vacuum seal first time using model no. VS6602

Could simply be that you have not locked it down at both ends. You need to press down quite heavily until you hear a loud click. And this has to be at both ends. Hope this works!

OR (and I got caught out with this one), you have to use mesh lined bags (a very fine criss-cross grooving on the inside so that the air can be sucked out.) Just any old bag will not work!

Lastly, you have to place your bag so that the cut end is half way across the suction well. if you place it right over the wall (all the way in) it won't work!

Can this item heat seal Foil bags (much thicker foil than chippie bags), not just plastic?

I need to know how you remove the 'Removable Vacuuming Interface for Easy Cleaning' as I can't see how it removes.

I purchased mine from crazysales.com.au - they are around $24 (I think) for a set of three.

Where do I get more sealer rolls from? I would have thought that the user guide give a recommendation or a source.

Same place the vacuum sealer was purchased - namely Crazysales.com.au - you can get rolls or bags.

My vacuum sealer was working fine, only had it for 3 weeks. but one day turned it on nothing happened, checked power to machine it has power. is there a reset to start again

Depends on model. If you have the cannister model, make sure that the cannister connection is NOT in the slot when using without cannisters. When using WITH cannisters, make sure unit is closed completely, otherwise removing air from cannisters will not work. Unit must be closed both sides for it to work sealing bags, with or without removing air.
