Maytag GC2225GEKS not cooling fridge or freezer what could be the problem ? Both inside and outside fans working, in fact all appears working

Please could anyone give me the width of this fridge? Ours is deep in storage and we wondered if it will fit in our new rental .. metric or inches would be so grateful

I must count myself lucky as I may have been the only one who has purchased the only Maytag model GC2225GEKS which is functional. Purchased June 2006 and has stopped cooling and freezing and the freezer now has ice built up at the back. I got 10 years use, not bad. I'm trying to find reviews on whether its worth fixing. Spoken to some repairers, but you don't get answers over the phone, only that they will charge a call out fee of $95. Did anyone else have this problem and how much did it cost to fix?

These were very expensive new and most parts are cost effective repairs

Fridge side working fine but freezer side not getting freezing enough for ice cream only occasionally

compressor and relay replaced only 2 months ago may be control board or damper switch ?????? can someone help?

Hi Phillip, We had this problem 3 or 4 times with our original freezer and once with it's replacement. Apparently they do not like humid weather and ice up at the rear of the unit. We had the part replaced each time.
