A disappointing end – This has been our first front load and have been generally happy with it's performance. The express setting is what we use always with good results. The machine does unbalance itself sometimes but does sort it self out. The sports setting has been very good for the children's soccer and rugby gear. A small rust spot started a couple of years ago, this has grown very large despite a dry laundry area, no other appliance has shown any signs of this in the last 20 years! Cleaned clothes well, express setting nice and quick Developed a large rust spot on the front and our laundry is very well ventilated. The machine has developed loud squeak at low speed, suspect the bearing are going. Stop using recently at my wife saw smoke coming from it. RIP Maytag, will be trying Meile
