Broke after 2 weeks – Bought a new pump and it was great for the two weeks that it worked but the motor all of a sudden just started stopping and starting again. I tried to troubleshoot with every method possible but it's just dead. The old pumps were so much more reliable. I exclusively pump so when it died in the middle of the night I physically suffered as I couldn't get my milk out.

Stopped working after two weeks, and terrible customer service – My pump failed after two weeks of use. As a parent who was struggling with breastfeeding a tongue tie baby after a traumatic birth, anyone would know how important a reliable breast pump is. This was purchased as Medela has astounding reviews. However, the pump repeatedly lost suction and just would not work. I had to purchase another pump just to ensure that my supply didn’t drop or be lost while attempting to get this pump working again, as my baby wasn’t able to latch on at all due to the tongue tie.
I sent the pump back to Medela in December 2021. I sent multiple follow up emails to which I never received a response to. On calling, Medela informed that in their testing, the pump was working but weren’t able to explain why the pump was not working in the video I sent them. It is now June 2022 and I have as yet received a replacement or my own pump back. This is 7 months after delivery of baby. As a company who stress the importance of giving a baby breastmilk, this has obviously just not aligned with what they preach.
Stay well away. I paid full price for this pump and now don’t even appear to own it as Medela still has it. Obviously now if it’s returned to me, it would be of no use to me as I already have another pump and bub has started solids.

As mentioned via message, I’ve reached out to Medela in December 2021, January, February, March and September this year via email either with no response via the customer service team or promises that it would get sorted in a day or two with nothing rectified.
I’m out of pocket over $200 for a pump that was used for all of under a week, and don’t even have it as it’s been with Medela for now very close to an entire year.

Losses it suction power, time consuming – My friend bought this one when I was in hospital saying medela is good brand but I wish it was true. It doesn’t have good suctioning power which takes me hour to get decent amount of milk. Since baby is in NICU I usually use hospital one. I used only when I am in house but after two months it losses its suction power more. It is very frustrating that we spent in this product which doesn’t worth it. Where can I change this product Bcz baby bunting is not helping to return this. I put the picture below showing amount of milk I got after 45 mins of expressing.
