Poor product design, please do not buy – This pump is disappointing, very weak suction. I can hardly empty my breast, over a period of time this has caused my milk supply to significantly decrease. Please do not buy, not worth the money. The Swing Flex model is way better.

Leaking and unsatisfied at the amount im able to express – Milk leaks from the valve section at the back of the pump no matter what i do, wasting milk, i also feel its really not that good at getting milk expressed from my breasts. Im rather unhappy with my purchase.

Milk leaks through the connector – The ads promise that you can pump comfortably while moving about but when i slightly bent down to pick up my baby who was on the bed with me while pumping, the milk spillt through the connectors. Very annoying and wasted my milk.

Very disappointing – Milk leaking everywhere during the pump. Expensive but isn’t effective as the previous Medela Swing model is. I was quite satisfied with Medela Swing breastpump when having my first baby, and thus decided to try out Medela Swing Maxi this time for my second one. However, I am now very disappointed and hate that milk leaked from the breastpump drop on my clothes each time I use it.

Milk leaks through the joints while pumping – I bought this pump expecting great things but have had difficulty as milk will leak through the bottle joints. Took it back to baby kingdom where I bought it and was told they can only replace parts, which they did but had the same issue still. Had a lactation consultant assess my technique and agreed the issue lies with the pump-bottle assembly. A bit annoying given the cost of the pump.
