a negative review. In the centre’s public reply, they named that parent’s child, even though the parent did not name their child in the review. That review and response are no longer visible.

I have retained screenshots showing the original reviews, the centre’s public response naming a child, and the current Google Maps page showing reviews disabled and the category change. These screenshots have been marked for clarity.

The following is my original review, reposted without alteration:

After three months of unresolved complaints, we removed our child from this centre. Complaints submitted in line with the service’s own policies were ignored and never investigated.

I was issued a 12 month ban simply for asking for clarification about a policy, with no warning, evidence, or opportunity to respond. My complaint about the ban itself was ignored for months, despite services being required to handle all complaints.

Serious concerns were dismissed rather than addressed. My child was left with visible irritation and faecal residue after a nappy change, with no barrier cream applied, and the owner refused to take responsibility, offering only to waive the two-week transfer period. Staff also kissed my child on the face twice, which went unaddressed until the Department of Education intervened and policies were changed.

Staff turnover has been extremely high, with administration being the only constant. While many educators were lovely, the administration appears defensive and resistant to feedback.

The centre meets the National Quality Standard, but based on our experience, that is clearly the ceiling for them.

P.S. to the owner: don’t name my child in your reply like you did to the other parent. Respect children’s privacy and safety.
