The Miss's Merc C200 W204 sedan – We picked this 2012 car up after its five year lease for AUD 19900. It only had a radio so I swapped that out for an android carhead unit w/carplay. Brilliant. Serviced once a year and did. 70K auto trans flush. That's it. The car has performed perfectly for the misses for over seven years now. No errors , no parts falling over, the car is a soft… Read more

ride but as a 1.8 ltr turbo it just does not keep up with my BMW 320D. I really cannot complain about the Merc base model C-200 great car.

Great car, good service - terrible warranty (3 years on a car that costs more than $80000) – Delight to drive, great handling, brilliant economy (better than A Prius) Lousy tyres supplied new - garbage run flats - not worth having BUT THE WARRANTY - 3 years????? Even Korean cheap cars have much better than this - and to be told that mercedes buyers don't keep their cars more than the warranty period is utter rubbish  Show details

Solid reliable car – This is my first Mercedes but certainly won't be my last. Fuel economy is fantastic, which is what I bought the car for. I commute 150 k's per day and constantly return under 5 litres per 100k's, (diesel). The interior is very well designed, with good quality materials for the price. The updated Harman Kardon sound system is well worth the… Read more

extra money. Servicing cost are quite high at the dealers, but service intervals are 25,000 k's or annual. The service that I receive is always first rate, and very professional. You get what you pay for I suppose. I have had the car for 3 years and have done 100,000 k's and it hasn't missed a beat.

2013 C Estate 200CDI – I upgraded from a B 180D and can't believe they come out of the same factory! The fuel efficiency is better than my old (2007) B, despite this being a much larger car. The pick up and acceleration blow me away when overtaking. This car is comfortable and a pleasure to drive and own. I have had it 12 months and done 45,000kms and loved driving… Read more

every k!

Mercedes as always offers a fairly simple and sensible instrument cluster, so that everything is to hand, unlike some other manufacturers who seem to give a busy display and a handful of levers and tonne of buttons!

For us, this car is a bit of an extravagance, however for the peace of mind for safety of our family (3 small children), fuel efficiency and the comfort of the drive, it is well worth it.

We all love this car. Since it's really the base of the 'true' Mercs, I look at the new M and wonder how amazing it must be to drive! Fuel efficiency for size. Drive. Comfort. If I have to say one thing, it's that the fuel efficiency is slightly higher than the touted 5.4L/km. I do lots of distance driving and mine is at 5.7L/km.

This IS the best! – The best or nothing. This is the tagline for MB and with exception for the late 1990's with dubious quality, the return to form has never been so good. I have owned and driven many cars over the years and when the time came for a new car, the dealer went the extra mile to show me the car. After 1.5 years off ownership, the dealer still gives me… Read more ·  3

the royal treatment. I have the C200 CGI model and the car is better than any other I have tested within this price category and the service I received was second to none. All those MB bashers on the internet are just sour grapes. Sharp, masculine looks, driving dynamics, responsiveness, bright airy cockpit, good visibility, 5 stars safety, and the list goes on... Slight lag in initial acceleration but this is easily fixed with an aftermarket powerchip to overboost the turbo.
